I whipped up a concept that I think could salvage the current identity. I'm still new to this so be kind!

I have a good uniform idea for the Cleveland Browns. It's a little rough but it works. Please like my concept. Thank you.

Well, hello again everyone! Somehow it's been almost a year since I've posted a concept here, and I wanted to come back with something special. For those of you who followed my Little Big League "Brandiosing" of the MLB, this Big Little League is a sister series to that, and it's exact opposite. As I started to want to really focus on making portfolio-worthy concepts, I didn't want to put too much time into a novelty series where I was copying someone else's style. So although that series isn't dead it is on life support unfortunately . (link in my signature if you'd like to check it out btw) But one day I had the idea, what if instead of putting Brandiose into the MLB, I took it out of the MiLB? An un-tackification of Minor League Baseball if you will. This provides an outlet to make fun, unique, non-gaudy minor league concepts where I can showcase my own design style instead of mimic another. The first concept is a new look at Jacksonville baseball, which took me quite a while to finish, but I'm really proud of how it turned out. I'm super excited about the possibilities here, so I hope you enjoy and let me know what team you'd like to see next (along with c&c of course). Thanks guys!

As a long time Chicago Bulls fan myself, I'm aware of the fact that most die-hard supporters of this NBA franchise actually want no changes at all – I did it anyway. The main focus was on increasing line width, cleaning up and centering the wordmark properly (still Stymie Becker, Bold) and adding just a tiny notch of modernization to the Bull's head, so that one would easily recognize the mark, but also appreciate the aspect in terms of refreshing the brand a little bit. This might be the worst use of "literally" in the history of these boards.

Let's be fair now, with this VERY minor white balance adjustment, it definitely looks purple.

IDK man this is a thing and looks way worse in my eyes.

A purple uniform would be nice, but I think it needs more black.

I think that uniform change in 1996 was an attempt to modernize the popular throwbacks from the 94 season (that they wore in Super Bowl 29) and they went with white pants for the first two years. in 1998 they brought back the gold pants and it looked great. Fun fact about that Garrison Hearst run - I was around 11 years old and at my friend's house watching the week 1 highlights and when they showed this game I EXCLAIMED in my little boy voice, "oh cool the 49ers brought back the gold pants!" This was met first with life-altering silence, and second his older brother said "why do you care what pants they're wearing, f**?" and that's when I learned to keep those thoughts to myself until I found this message board many years later.

I don't have much to say about this one. I wanted new shirts for my softball team. I love the Big Lebowski and the swinging friar logo. This is what I did with rather than sleeping last night.

I'm actually working on a concept for the Bucs right now with the same idea -- I wanted to darken the pewter to remove the black. My line of thinking was to completely remove black/silver from the equation. Let the Raiders own that color scheme, especially with the Bucs having a similar identity. I like to tinker with logos before making a concept to establish the color palette I intend to use, and this is what I had come up with. I think it looks great!

Ugh the cross across Brady’s face doesn’t match the sleeve stripes.

I've done many "Vintage Style College Mascots" and as the NFL season gets started I was thinking of what their logos/mascots might look like if they had been created in the style of Arthur Evans. I don't plan on directly using any mascot/logo looks (college or NFL) that are already out there (example: using Pistol Pete for the Dallas Cowboys). However, I may take inspiration from bits or pieces of them. Over the next few weeks/months I'll be adding my newest iterations, please let me know what you think with your comments and/or likes. First up: Minnesota Vikings

All they really need to do is get rid of the oversized helmet logo, the chrome facemask, the shoulder yoke, the asymmetrical sleeve logos, the alarm clock numbers, and the blocky panels on the sides of the pants where the stripes should be. That should just about fix things.

In my opinion, an iteration like this would've been amazing. It felt like a missed opportunity not tapping back into the purple during the 2015 rebrand. I always loved the way that the bright 90's color pallet popped off each other.

The helmet just feels incomplete or unfinished. The 90's logo would have been perfect. Adding the jet to the new wordmark or helmet logo would have helped.

Hey guys –– it's been a while. So, I'm working on kind of a big project. I wanted to come up with something that was more than just a league-wide uniform re-design like I last did in 2014, a project that best celebrated the last 100 years of professional football. I'm nowhere close to being done, but thought it'd be fun to start sharing some working ideas with you all as I strive to complete this project before the NFL's 200th Anniversary. Feel free to leave comments as we go along, ask questions, leave ideas, et.c Or, if you want to ask me anything design-related or talk about past projects of mine, feel free. Happy to talk about whatever you guys want. My proposed NFL 100 celebration will feature four different quarters that span the length of the regular season, each showcasing a different period of the last 100 years. The first four weeks of the season would kick off with teams playing in throwback uniforms. Each team would get to choose one home set and one away set from their past to feature. The throwback jerseys would be designated with a bronzed 100 shield. For this project, I'm trying to focus on throwback uniforms that team's have never worn in modern times. Will be tough for the newer times, like the example below, but for most teams I've been finding some interesting designs to bring back. The second quarter of the season, teams would wear their modern day home and road uniforms. Boring, I know, for the purposes of this project, but in real-life it would give the season-long story a good linear narrative. These jerseys would be designated with a modern 100 shield. I'm deciding between doing the uniforms as-is, imperfections and all, or updating minor design issues while still retaining the overall look and feel of the originals. In the third quarter of the season, teams would wear color rush uniforms. Overall I've liked this innovation as it feels like we're pushing uniform design towards something new and interesting. I feel like we're on the edge right now, between old and whatever we might see in the future as fabric technology advances and sports design gets more bold and less traditional. These jerseys would be designated with a tonal color-on-color 100 shield. My goal with these is to try and design a color rush set that teams haven't worn yet. In the final quarter of the season, teams would throw it forward to futuristic concept uniforms. Perhaps what they'd wear in 2120? Probably not, but that's the gist of it. Here's where I'm spending the majority of my time, starting from scratch to give each team a brand new look and feel that better aligns with their brand identity.

The more I see the logo and the wordmark interact with one another, the more I'm convinced they don't really mesh together: If they make the wordmark letters a little closer to the uniform numbers with bigger serifs and angled-cuts, it feels a lot more natural IMO.

I decided to get a concept going (like so many others) for the LA Rams. I used the vintage look from 51-82 as a starting point and used some reference images of bighorn sheep (even though the vintage look seems more like a domestic sheep). Just done in pencil for now, digital to come later.

The unis just leaked and they’re BEAUTIFUL The new alt uniform is a bit of a bold move, but that’s going to give them such a huge advantage in the Florida heat.

The red facemask is one of my favorite touches. It really makes the whole uniform less drab. I agree that by most books, it should be blue, but there's exceptions to every rule.
