Or at the very least the current logo in a roundel like the Rangers. Nashville already has a solid brand -
I say Orlando for multiple reasons. Whenever one of the startup leagues play, Orlando usually always has a team. Florida is a hotbed for football-high school, college, and pro. Orlando has also hosted the past two Pro Bowls with good numbers. I think Florida is big enough that it can handle 4 teams.

The Raiders and Rams have long history and strong fanbase in Los Angeles. The Chargers played one year in LA prior to their move so virtually no history, or fanbase. Had it been the Raiders joining the Rams in LA I think the story may have been very different than what we are seeing with the Chargers. I dont think the Chargers should have left San Diego. Where could the Chargers go if they dont stay in LA? Depending on what happens with the stadium measures on the ballot for November they could have a chance to return to San Diego. With the Raiders going to Las Vegas, they could see about a new stadium in Oakland but the Coliseum is out of the question at this point. I dont think Sacramento would be strong enough to support an NFL team, but I know they tried to lure the Raiders I think in the late 80s/early 90s. Portland, San Antonio, or Orlando would be other options.

Because the New York and Los Angeles markets are large enough that they can handle two teams. Thats why MLB, NFL, MLS, NBA have two clubs for those markets. The NHL has three in the New York market, which I honestly think is overkill but its working. Southern California has the Dodgers, and Angels and even the Padres about 2 and half hours away in San Diego. Putting a fourth club in SoCal would be oversaturation of the market. There are also other markets in the US and Canada that deserve and could support a MLB club than adding a third club to Los Angeles. The issue with Los Angeles in the NFL is that nobody in LA wanted the Chargers. They have embraced the Rams as they previously played in the market for years and they wanted the Raiders to return. Had the Raiders moved to LA instead of the Chargers both clubs would have thrived in LA and we could have seen the Chargers either stay in San Diego or head for Las Vegas.

https://whnt.com/2018/09/05/rocket-city-trash-pandas-chosen-as-new-madison-baseball-teams-name/ Trash Pandas it is! I would have gone with North Alabama over Rocket City but of all the names Trash Pandas was the best. -
Agreed. Quebec City or Trois Rivieres probably.

PCL is too important to abandon. If it wasnt for the independent American Association already taking the name I would love to see the AA return to the AAA ranks. -

It seems that the Pacific Coast League is slowly moving everything near the central United States rather than the Pacific coast. New Orleans seems to be the only PCL club that would fit the bill for the Southern League. (Cant imagine Nashville or Memphis dropping down). As for the Southern League Ive heard Chattanooga had been wanting a new ballpark. Havent heard anything regarding Tennessee Smokies but I do see Jackson as the likely candidate. Meanwhile the collegiate Northwoods League appears to be closer to adding every Wisconsin town, another Wisconsin town to the circuit as Waukesha looks to build a new ballpark in time for the 2019 season. With Kokomo Jackrabbits and St Croix RiverHounds already set to join next season this would give the Northwoods League 23 clubs for next year, 11 of which are in Wisconsin (Eau Claire, La Crosse, Fond du Lac, Green Bay, Kenosha, Mequon, Madison, Wausau, Wisconsin Rapids, Hudson and Waukesha). The new ballpark in Waukesha, a Milwaukee suburb, are to be built less than 20 miles from a new Franklin, WI ballpark being built for a new independent American Association club for next season. Meanwhile in Beloit, it looks like they may be close to getting a new ballpark built to replace their current ballpark which is not in MiLB standards. Wisconsin must really love baseball. -

https://ballparkdigest.com/2018/07/18/finalists-unveiled-for-colorado-springs-pioneer-league-team-name/ This is bad. Colorado Springs Happy Campers The Happy Campers celebrates Colorado Springs’ positive attitude and our love of nature, camping and all things outdoors. Colorado Springs Lamb Chops The largest and highest quality lamb in the world, the Lamb Chops is a nod to the World Famous Colorado Lamb. We’ve got the chops! Colorado Springs Punchy Pikas A small but fierce critter that calls Pikes Peak home, known for its iconic forceful bark. Colorado Springs Throttle Jockeys Aim high! The Throttle Jockeys is a tribute to our brave pilots who train and call Colorado Springs home. Rocky Mountain Oysters It’s a classic Minor League Baseball name in the making, this original cowboy fare has already been made famous at Colorado fairs, festivals and baseball games. Throttle Jockeys has my vote. Who would name their team after an animal testicle? -

Why do all the new minor league teams have to name themselves after something found in a Dr. Seuss book? Its just getting ridiculous. It should have been Gold Sox or Armadillos or Dillas. Anything else is just wrong.
