  1. I like the Nashville Predators new road jersey. The old ones (home/road) were good and had they just removed the piping, it would have been perfect. But, they clearly wanted gold to be the predominant colour when they changed the socks to be that way a few years ago and for some reason, only waited until now to make the full change.
  2. What's the over/under on how many actual games Matt Duchene is going to wear in the Av's new jerseys before he finally gets traded.
  3. Geroy Simon is being inducted into the CFL Hall Of Fame. Started out in the CFL with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers after getting cut by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL, and then finished his career with a Grey Cup win with the Saskatchewan Rough Riders. Always will be a BC Lion.
  4. The original Jets and the Coyotes are one and the same franchise, so putting him in that thread would be wrong. Doan has never played for the current Jets.
  5. In honour of his retirement, Shane Doan. Only 1 year in a Jets uniform and a couple in the crap the Coyotes have now.
  6. First, self admitted Blue Jay band wagoner, so I do think of him as more of a Jay. The reason I say him in an A's uniform is wrong would be because he really only was an impact player for them for a couple of years. While he's only played 3 years with the Jays, for now, he was the MVP his first year, and I see him finishing his career with the Jays. It would be pretty stupid for them to let him go.
  7. Shawn Kemp with the Blazers, Cavs, and Magic.
  8. Orel Hershiser with the Cleveland Indians and the New York (Mercury) Mets
  9. Chad Johnson with the Montreal Alouettes and New England Patroits
  10. The thing about Ken Griffey Jr is that some people will remember him for his days in Seattle because those were his best years. And until you actually go and check his stats, one might not realize he played as long as he did with the Reds. There shouldn't be any debate about him being in a Chicago White Sox jersey being the wrong look.
  11. Dave Stewart and Rickey Henderson were both on the 1993 Blue Jays that won the World Series, but Stewart only lasted a couple of years, while Henderson only played part of the regular season with them. I remember them both as Oakland A's, even if they played with any other teams.
  12. Mario Lemiuex in the Robo Penguin alternate jersey just doesn''t look quite right. As a bonus, Wayne Gretzky in a St. Louis Blues' jersey.
  13. Depends on whether you consider it a sport or not, but here's John Cena in his debut match.
  14. Too late for the Stanley Cup Final, but here's Tomas Vokoun as a Penguin.
  15. Scott Stevens played only a year in these before the team switched to their current set.
  16. Not sure whether it actually is unpopular or not, but when the Nashville Predators switched to the yellow helmets full time, I hated it. Now, perhaps its just something I've become use to, but after just seeing a short clip of them in the blue lids, I'm starting to think they made the right decision with the switch.
  17. Bo knows he doesn't look right in a White Sox or Angeles uniform. Definitely doesn't look right in a Habs uniform.
  18. In 2003, Paul Kariya and Teemu Selanne agreed to go for the Cup by joining a stacked Avalanche team, signing 1 year deals. Kariya then played for Nashville and St. Louis. Once a Duck, always a Duck.
  19. Only wore this uniform for a couple of seasons before demanding a trade out.
  20. So Sportsnet up here in Canada was showing the Maurice Richard movie and I caught a piece of it. To my surprise, the Rocket started off wearing number 15 before switching to 9 after the birth of his first daughter, who weighed 9 pounds at birth. I've been looking for a picture, but the best I could do is the trailer for the movie where Richard asks the coach to switch to number 9. Mid way through the trailer. http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi1962475801/
  21. Nobody belongs in these ugly things. A better example for Miller would be him in the goat era jerseys since he might have only played a couple of years in them and is more known for being in blue/yellow with the Sabres.
  22. Domink Hasek. I remember him more in the black/red/grey uniforms.
