  1. This might fit better in the Players in the wrong uniforms thread, but whatevs:
  2. With the recent expansion news, I decided to do an MLS realignment. This would be as of 2022, when St. Louis begins play: (Los Angeles=LA Galaxy, Long Beach=LA FC, Covington=FC Cincinnati, New York=NYC FC, Newark=NY Red Bulls, Boston=New England, Fort Lauderdale=Inter Miami CF) EASTERN CONFERENCE NORTHEAST DIVISION DC United Montreal Impact New England Revolution New York City FC New York Red Bulls Philadelphia Union Toronto FC CENTRAL DIVISION Atlanta United FC Chicago Fire FC Cincinnati Columbus Crew SC Inter Miami CF Nashville SC Orlando City SC WESTERN CONFERENCE MIDWEST DIVISION Austin FC Colorado Rapids FC Dallas Houston Dynamo Minnesota United FC Sporting Kansas City St. Louis PACIFIC DIVISION Los Angeles Galaxy Los Angeles FC Portland Timbers Real Salt Lake San Jose Earthquakes Seattle Sounders FC Vancouver Whitecaps FC
  3. Surprised there's no Sabres or Rangers Winter Classic logos/jerseys/etc.
  4. Martin Brodeur as a... St. Louis Blue?!? Also the wrong goalie pads. He should still be in those same pads that used to be white once in 1992.Wrong mask, too. However, remember that he was in there in an emergency capacity. He wasn't planning on dressing, so he wouldn't have his gear with him. That's all loner stuff Wrong NOB font, too. It's the Sabres' primary uniform lettering rather than their alternate's.
  5. No sign of the Bills' wordmark that was introduced alongside their current unis, I see. Here it is, along with the previous wordmark for comparison (they are similar, admittedly).
  6. Ditto any pre-Edge against the Sabres that season.
  7. Despite the realignment, it STILL leaves the league with 2 unbalanced conferences, if you know what I mean. How about this to balance it out? 3 divisions, no conferences. EASTERN DIVISION Elmira JackalsFlorida EverbladesGreenville Road WarriorsOrlando Solar BearsReading RoyalsSouth Carolina StingraysWheeling Nailers CENTRAL DIVISION Cincinnati CyclonesEvansville IcemenFt. Wayne KometsGwinnett GladiatorsIndianapolis FuelKalamazoo WingsToledo Walleye WESTERN DIVISION Alaska AcesBakersfield CondorsColorado EaglesIdaho SteelheadsLas Vegas WranglersOntario ReignStockton ThunderUtah Grizzlies
  8. How about another NBA realignment. With no relocation or expansion: EASTERN CONFERENCE ATLANTIC DIVISION Boston CelticsBrooklyn NetsCharlotte Hornets (Bobcats)Miami HeatNew York KnicksOrlando MagicPhiladelphia 76ersWashington Wizards CENTRAL DIVISION Atlanta HawksChicago BullsCleveland CavaliersDetroit PistonsIndiana PacersMilwaukee BucksToronto Raptors WESTERN CONFERENCE MIDWEST DIVISION Dallas MavericksHouston RocketsMemphis GrizzliesMinnesota TimberwolvesNew Orleans PelicansOklahoma City ThunderSan Antonio Spurs PACIFIC DIVISION Denver NuggetsGolden State WarriorsLos Angeles ClippersLos Angeles LakersPhoenix SunsPortland Trail BlazersSacramento KingsUtah Jazz
  9. They're right here: http://s767.photobucket.com/user/HockeyJerseyConcepts/media/NHL%20Numbers/Numbers-BUF3rd.png.html?sort=4&o=54
  10. AAA Baseball realignment, anyone? This combines the International League and the Pacific Coast League into one entity: EASTERN CONFERENCE NORTHEAST DIVISION Buffalo Bisons (Blue Jays) Pawtucket Red Sox (Red Sox) Rochester Red Wings (Twins) Scranton/Wilkes Barre RailRiders (Yankees) Syracuse Chiefs (Nationals) ATLANTIC DIVISION Charlotte Knights (White Sox) Durham Bulls (Rays) Gwinnett Braves (Braves) Lehigh Valley IronPigs (Phillies) Norfolk Tides (Orioles) CENTRAL DIVISION Columbus Clippers (Indians) Indianapolis Indians (Pirates) Louisville Bats (Reds) Nashville Sounds (Brewers) Toledo Mud Hens (Tigers) WESTERN CONFERENCE MIDWEST DIVISION Iowa Cubs (Cubs) Memphis Redbirds (Cardinals) New Orleans Zephyrs (Marlins) Oklahoma City Redhawks (Astros) Omaha Storm Chasers (Royals) MOUNTAIN DIVISION Albuquerque Isotopes (Dodgers) Colorado Springs Sky Sox (Rockies) Round Rock Express (Rangers) Salt Lake Bees (Angels) Tucson Padres (Padres) PACIFIC DIVISION Fresno Grizzlies (Giants) Las Vegas 51's (Mets) Reno Aces (Diamondbacks) Sacramento River Cats (Athletics) Tacoma Rainiers (Mariners)
  11. With Sacramento potentially moving to Seattle: WESTERN CONFERENCE PACIFIC Denver Golden State LA Clippers LA Lakers Phoenix Portland Seattle Utah MIDWEST Dallas Houston Memphis Minnesota New Orleans Oklahoma City San Antonio EASTERN CONFERENCE CENTRAL Atlanta Chicago Cleveland Detroit Indiana Milwaukee Toronto ATLANTIC Boston Brooklyn Charlotte Miami New York Orlando Philadelphia Washington
  12. With the Big Ten adding Maryland and Rutgers, time for a little realignment there: EAST DIVISION Indiana Maryland Michigan Michigan State Ohio State Penn State Rutgers WEST DIVISION Illinois Iowa Minnesota Nebraska Northwestern Purdue Wisconsin
  13. But then who would you kick out of the West to accommodate LA? The Broncos, Raiders, and Chargers all have just as much history as the Chiefs do.
  14. NBA, if the whole Sacramento-to-Virginia Beach rumors prove true: PACIFIC Golden StateLA ClippersLA LakersPhoenixPortland NORTHWEST DenverMilwaukeeMinnesotaOklahoma CityUtah SOUTHWEST Same. CENTRAL ChicagoClevelandDetroitIndianaToronto ATLANTIC BostonBrooklynNew YorkPhiladelphiaWashington SOUTHEAST AtlantaCharlotteMiamiOrlandoVirginia Beach/Hampton Roads/Norfolk/whatever
  15. ^Not bad, but I'm not a big fan of Colorado in the NL South and Kansas City in the AL West. Here's how I would do it (changes in bold):
  16. Rearrange the division names (your Smythe should be Norris, your Norris Adams and your Adams Smythe) and you're golden. I also like your outside-the-box 3-team-division format too. And swap Colorado and Dallas.
  17. There's plenty more where that came from (the team all wore hockey jerseys on the flight to Toronto; they play the Blue Jays this weekend): http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151746316245078.869267.94421890077&type=1 http://www.newsday.com/sports/baseball/mets/mets-players-show-off-their-hockey-jerseys-1.3724791#7 https://twitter.com/#!/Mets My faves have to be Jason Bay rocking the Whale, David Wright with a District 5 Ducks jersey, and Jon Rauch with a Syracuse Bulldogs (Slap Shot) jersey.
  18. David Wright as a Michigan Wolverine. On a side note, those Mets BP jerseys are frigging gorgeous.
  19. IMO, this would be the ideal alignment if the league goes to four divisuons: If Detroit Moves to the East Prince of Wales Conference Jack Adams Division Boston Buffalo Detroit Montreal Ottawa Pittsburgh Toronto Lester Patrick Division Carolina Florida New Jersey NY Islanders NY Rangers Philadelphia Tampa Bay Washington Clarence S. Campbell Conference James Norris Division Chicago Columbus Dallas Minnesota Nashville St. Louis Winnipeg Conn Smythe Division Anaheim Calgary Colorado Edmonton Los Angeles Phoenix San Jose Vancouver If Columbus Moves to the East Prince of Wales Conference Jack Adams Division Boston Buffalo Montreal New Jersey NY Islanders NY Rangers Ottawa Toronto Lester Patrick Division Carolina Columbus Florida Philadelphia Pittsburgh Tampa Bay Washington Clarence S. Campbell Conference James Norris Division Chicago Dallas Detroit Minnesota Nashville St. Louis Winnipeg Conn Smythe Division Anaheim Calgary Colorado Edmonton Los Angeles Phoenix San Jose Vancouver
