911, what is your emergency? Help, please! Someone's broken into my house! I'm sorry ma'am. Glendale PD doesn't have any first responders left. I tell you what, for your inconvenience, I'm going to mail you a pair of Coyotes tickets. Have a nice day! *click* -

On a flagpole made of Ryane Clowe's used sticks. Mounted in the newly expanded Westgate City Center parking lot? -

I will never understand the obsession with Toronto, Part Deux. It's almost akin to MLB placing an expansion AL team in Boston. Good luck tapping into that spoken for fan base. -

Ignoring the pedophile pictures to ask this... Is there any way to bypass the mobile site? I'm using Chrome on Android yet I still get the mobile view even when requesting the desktop view of all sites. -

Besides, even if he was alive, Charlton Heston wouldn't be the best casting choice for Bettman. -

Actually, rumor is that the Leafs and the Canucks are switching cities to cut down on the rioting problem, since when you don't have any playoff appearances, you can't riot after an elimination. -

Better yet... Tear down the Jobber, build a library with ample parking. -
It's like USC. They have the ring of honor, but still issue the numbers. Plus, when you have more than half the numbers taken on an active roster, and them limited by position, retiring numbers is a bit problematic in the NFL.

For Android at least, uncheck "Enable Mobile View" in the browser settings. If you use Dolphin as your browser, set the User Agent to desktop. -

The only reason that the Rays even exist is because St. Pete already had a stadium sitting there and couldn't seal the deal with the attempted Giants and White Sox moves. The fact of the matter is that other than a poorly configured football stadium, there's no place to move a team anymore, lest some owner drink enough absinthe to consider giving Montreal another go.

What was last year's total? Because, let's just say that they had 5,000 last year. That's only a net increase of 500. -
The Coliseum and the Rose Bowl are both undergoing or are set to undergo renovations. USC is even trying to buy the land under the Coliseum. The issue with those two venues and NFL-feasibility has been the far too large footprints and seating capacities that would ensure blackouts.

What is it with my metro area and stadia? You have a plan for a cheaper stadium in Industry, with all environmental reviews passed, just waiting for a team to commit. Then you have a downtown stadium pitched, with a naming rights deal already secured, but none of the reviews even started, and with demolition/site work to factor in. And all this after the Rose Bowl/Coliseum/Carson/Irwindale/Hollywood Park/Dodger Stadium parking lot/Angel Stadium parking lot indecision that made us lose out to Houston. LOL WUT?

Another shoe has dropped, officially. Hawaii to MWC, Big West

Furthering the possible wrench in the Hawaii to MWC rumor: Hawaii, Bakersfield, UC San Diego to Big West?

LMU and BYU in the same conference. Never thought I'd see the day. While BYU fits in with the WCC's religious-institution background, and really increases the conference's profile, something just seems weird about having a school with an enrollment of 30,000 in with 8 schools of enrollments of between 4,000 and 8,000 roughly.
