So, try to quash the Mrs. Bedard rumor by giving a presser so emotional (but insisting that no laws were broken) that you come out of it thinking Perry did something even worse… that’ll shut them up! -

It definitely isn't true, but by far the funniest rumor I've ever heard in hockey involving Corey Perry and Connor Bedard was all over Twitter today.
Well, something happened apparently…

Bringing this post out of the mothballs to add a couple points of emphasis.
*If you submit a report without any content/context, it will be ignored. Our job is not to guess why you may think that a post needs to be moderated.
*If you feel the need to report a post, don't turn around and also engage it with a GIF or a reaction. All that does is makes more work for the moderator team as we have to edit your post in addition to the original and all subsequent replies that arise.
*Poor taste is not report worthy. Save the report button for something actually offensive.
*Someone posting an image too large for your liking is not report worthy.
*A thread being too long for your liking is not report worthy.
*You not understanding a joke is not report worthy.

NCAA rules set a 6-team minimum for conferences. Although they are given a 2-year grace period, so they could stay a 2-team conference for the next couple years. However, they won't have Power status and the CFP has already been proactive to set an 8-team minimum to eligible for one of the conference champions spots and to go from the top 6 conference champions + 6 highest ranked teams to 5 and 7.
It’s not the power status that they’d be interested in by keeping the conference afloat for a couple years. It’s the sweet, sweet cash that the conference has contractually due to it that they’d be able to split down the middle and dive into Scrooge McDuck style.

Notre Dame continues to turn their noses up at the commoners and their conference affiliations.

Those two were not found innocent, they were found not guilty. It's an important distinction.
And let's also not forget that OJ was found liable in civil court for wrongful death. We didn't almost have the chance of Fred Goldman taking a blowtorch to the Heisman on pay-per-view as some metaphoric modern art piece of justice and vindication.

What a :censored:ing joke lmao. People can dunk on the Coyotes, but at least they have a set home.
The A's are just going to be a traveling circus ripped right out of the 50's, which is even more pathetic. The Los Angeles Buccaneers of baseball, everybody.
At least the A's will be a traveling circus with working plumbing in their clubhouse and at least a 78% reduction in opossums in the walls.

The conspiracy theorist in me wonders if Seidler’s free spending was largely because he had something chronic, knew he was going to die, and threw all his cash into the ball club on his way out. If that’s the case, there’s likely to be a fire sale happening that’ll make Jeffrey Loria raise an eyebrow.

So, by presser in Times Square, obviously that means that they could only afford to pay the Naked Cowboy to read a piece of paper.

Wait … who exactly is America’s team, here?
Yep. Because equating Penn State with anything related to restoring right and justice is galaxy brain-level logic.

Amazing how quickly the city can whip up and approve this piece of meaningless legislation yet it and Alameda County have been stalling and dragging their feet on legislation that would have actually accomplished this for decades.

Juventus changed their logo, and now they suck is the contex
They're second in Serie A. If they changed the logo back in 2006 when they were relegated for match fixing then there'd be something to this. Not in this case.

If you were banned immediately after signing up that is solely because your private IP address had an account already registered to it in which case please contact the moderator team directly to arrange to have the old account deleted/merged into the new one.

The stripe running down the center of the court is supposed to represent the airport runway in Las Vegas, which will host the semifinals and finals at T-Mobile Arena on Dec. 7 and 9.
This is the DUMBEST reason for a design element I've heard in quite a while.Uhhh…

It’s made all the more stupid that the team’s named after a freaking body of water and could just have easily been the Tampa Rays if not to appease Little Brother Across the Bridge.

I guess it’s better than the other half dozen where you’re in if you cut a big enough check.

Considering that they chose Tempe and that wasn’t a “potential site,” I’d say that this is plenty of nothing.
