  1. Yes, that is Midnight Navy which is darker than the more common 289 that a lot of navy teams use.
  2. I just don't get the love with the Burnt Orange, yeah it has historical connections (TEX) but it just looks so drab. Also the Crest hasn't change although Chris used the non crest logo on his comparison page.
  3. 3 of the 4 teams left had their logos designed by the same designer. Florida Vegas Dallas
  4. I think the jersey crest is perfect, just run with that. I like the sharper corners on the wing too. I made a number set to go with the sharp corners of the logo a few years back, don't think it ever went anywhere.
  5. ah seeing that rendering brings back that project, too bad it didn't go anywhere, lots of great marks and sweater designs.
  6. Re: Titans - I totally had the new set blocked out in my mind! D'oh! Yeah those aren't too good. I like the idea behind the numbers but for me the other "cute" things really have to go if those numbers stay. In my mind I still think of their original uniforms, although flawed as well, they were a few tweaks away from a great set. The colors are what make this team look so good to me, currently there are too many combos being used. (A flaw many teams have currently.) I feel a less is more approach with their colors would work well.
  7. Never understood the hate the Titans uniforms get, same with the Panthers. Sure they can be improved but they aren't as bad as some make them out to be.
  8. NFL Ligatures I think these are what you are talking about.
  9. Overall I like this set. The cream is a nice touch and the red numbers work well. I wish the gothic "TX" was simplified a bit more, it reads as the roman numeral 9 (IX) and immediately makes me think of Title IX.
  10. The Bears uniforms have never impressed me the way some fan slobber over them.
  11. it doesn't help that their logo has only a small sliver of orange in the drop shadow. When designing graphics for them it is always a tough balance. They are a black/ orange team but sometimes adding orange to a design doesn't look right for them. They need to pick either the orange or the gold, and I'd say go with the orange. Go ahead an be the west coast Flyers....
  12. From a distance that Sharks logo looks like some sort of dinosaur/duck footprint.
  13. I was surprised to find out it exists as a live font.
  14. They really needed to have the letters D C in there too? They are in the bolts already, otherwise it's my favorite logo of the group.
  15. Yup, it's the Washington Capitals number font.
  16. not exactly, but LHF Sarah Script is pretty close.
  17. https://www.dafont.com/1979.font not exact but pretty close, I know the name of the correct one, just can't remember it right now....hope this helps
  18. yes, The OKC was done by @BrandMooreArt
  19. @philcar1994 It's Wisdom Script, looks like they cut off a bit of the sweep on the "N"
  20. I don't think they look difficult to read...except, of course when manufacturers try to hard and we get something like the black 49ers jersey. Cheap? I don't know about that...maybe sometimes. Obviously with one-color teams like the Red Wings or Maple Leafs, it's the way to go. Those are beautiful uniforms that don't need to be dinged with gray or black outlines on the numbers. But sometimes, numbers without outlines tend to leave the secondary color not prevalent enough on the jersey. I think the Vikings are a good example with the one yellow stripe. I'd much rather see outlines on the numbers. Same with the 49ers, who would look great with gold outlines on the numbers. The white-only numbers bug me for a few other teams, like the Canucks; their jersey needs more green on the torso. I am not sure that "cheap" is the word, but sometimes it looks like something's missing. -that's my point about enough contrast, red on black with that jersey does not give you enough contrast. -My point about cheap is that many on here use that as a reason to need the outline
  21. Numbers on uniforms without outlines do not make them look cheap or difficult to read. If the number's color has enough contrast with the body color of the uniform it is perfectly legible. I'm not against outlines but both executions can work, and I feel some teams just fall into the habit of adding an outline for the sake of having one.
  22. Replica Full Block is pretty close.
  23. "Rapids" looks to be Copperplate, "Colorado" looks to be possibly a custom condensed version of that except the"A" is totally different, so I'm not too sure what that one is.
