Very nice. I'd love to see these concepts in use after being thoroughly disappointed by the new centennial designs. The only feature I would update is to move the waist striping all the way to the bottom hem like it was in the old days and have the gold touching the pants.

To me, it looks like the Boston University sweaters from the 1970s were a partial inspiration with BOSTON arched above an animal mascot head. BU recently brought these vintage Terrier dog jerseys back as a special occasion uniform.

The thing that really bugs me about the new Boston ring is the missing heel and toe patches on the hanging sox. They look like Christmas stockings, not the team logo. The 2007 ring had the patches so I find it quite strange the new one doesn't.

The new 2011 Stanley Cup banner in the TD Garden rafters alongside the redone ones representing the 1970 & 1972 teams.

They have followed the trend of plopping the primary logo on top of the Stanley Cup. Still, it is a great sight for sore eyes in Boston! B's Reveal Championship Ring Details
