Boy, you need to get better at choosing teams! His other teams, the Islanders and Blue Jackets, are keeping him honest. -

They probably would have been moved last season had Glendale Clown College not given them another $25M to cover losses. I have to think that if le Colisee is even close to being NHL ready by September/October, the Yotes are northern bound. Then again I thought the same thing for the last three years so what the hell do I know? -

I vaguely remember before the last Coyotes game at America West Arena, they said that you could only see about 70% of the rink from the upper deck on that side. Old Winnipeg Arena was like this too. The overhang on each side was such that you couldn't see the side of the ice you were sitting on. There were TVs situated along the balcony for you to see the action, but still. But oh, the memories. -

So you're saying the Legend will be an ECHL team? -

Well that's cool, I honestly didn't know what else went on in PrudRena. So with all of that stuff happening, how are the Devils bleeding money? Don't they own and operate it? If so, how is it possible for them, with all that additional event and concession revenue floating in? For the record, I don't honestly believe that the Devils are in any danger of moving anywhere, but IF (strictly hypothetical due to my willful ignorance of this situation) they're the O/Os of Prudential, even with a lower than expected average attendance, I can't see how they're in such bad financial shape. Other than the Kovalchuk deal. Seriously, guys. -

And how are those attended, taking into consideration that Hova's entourage likely makes up about 1500 seats a night (unpaid). -

But they had to, how many parking lot parades can you have? Does anything else take place in that arena? Concerts? Monster Trucks? Lipizanner stallions? Gaither Homecomings? Anything? -
I'm in dire need of a good resource for (preferably) free, GOOD website templates-- easily customizable and updatable, possibly wordpress compatible, and aesthetically pleasing. ANyone who has me on twitter, yes, this is all relating to the SECRET PROJECT I've been going on about. Or, conversely, if anyone wants to help me with a website that won't pay anything but will look goddamned good on a resume or CV, PM me or DM me on the twitters.

As far as I can tell, the Canucks' reach goes about as far south as Mount Vernon, which is also about as far south as most Vancouverites go on weekends to outlet shop. Once you start getting into actual Seattle suburbs, there might be a lot of Canucks merch for sale or at least up in the windows, but they're still pandering to the tourists. -

Saskatoon and Yellowknife would love NHL hockey too. Doesn't mean it makes sense to go there. -

Do you GTA kids have a Five Guys yet? Also, yes, if I don't feel like driving 45 minutes for a decent burger, the Triple O's is pricily amazing. -

BuffaLOL is just the default city for Torontonians who want to seem American. Bills season ticket holders, Sabres ticket buyers, etc etc. It's close, so it reaps the rewards, kinda like (to an extent) Seattle does for Vancouverites. Except most Vancouverites don't give a rat's ass about the Mariners or the Seahawks. -

The NHL could do worse than bringing in old WCW/WWE guys to help out in the front office. Tully Blanchard to do Shanahan's job, especially. "For this elbow to the head, as well as the fact that he has been suspended several times for similar offenses, Matt Cooke will be placed into THE TREE OF WOE until he submits. Plus five games." -

It is my firm belief that hockey organists should dress like the Phantom of the Opera as much as possible, and break into "Chest Fever" at least three times a period. -

Not to toot my hometown's horn, but the last arena to be built within an area's financial means was MTS Centre. That seems to have turned out just fine.
