Will they wear contrasting socks at all this season? That determines how I feel about these a lot!

The website makes it sound like the blue jersey will only be pared with the silver pants. Let’s hope that’s true… I have my doubts.

First pics just posted on Lions Reddit. Silver pants have stripes and the face mask is blue!

Reddit is a different universe. Morbid curiosity led me to the Coyotes Reddit this week to see their reaction to the move. 99% of the comments were blaming Gary Bettman. A total disconnect from reality over there.

No WCF in the stripes makes this a win. Pants better have stripes and proper socks. Feels like they are going to treat these like the Browns treat their looks. Hopefully I’m not proven wrong about this.

This might sound crazy, but I think it’s the best logo the Jets have ever had.

White socks with stripes would do wonders for this set. Still a vast improvement.

The kachina jersey, while beautiful up close, is a dark, muddy mess during normal TV game angles and it probably needed to be reworked before returning. Oh well, don’t have to worry about that anymore.

Whatever terrible name they pick, I’m just hoping for a unique color scheme. Let’s get a primary purple uni back in the league! No red and black or double (triple) blues.

Yeah, people love that carpet out here. I never saw one of the “Oregon” jerseys in the wild, but the PDX carpet gear is everywhere.

I don’t know anything about Phoenix, but just from fooling around on Google Maps, this seems like a terrible spot for an arena. This is still far from the population center, just in a different direction now. (Yes, I know there is basically no chance anything happens with this attempt either.)

That blue thing above the horn looks more like an “H” to me.

That’s a red swoosh inside the navy “horn” on the sleeve, right? These aren’t a disaster, but they are definitely worse than what they had.

My Duquesne Dukes are in the tournament for the first time since 1977! My lifelong fandom (I attended one half of one game in the four years I spent there) is finally being rewarded.

I have a confession. The first Super Bowl I remember watching is Bills-Giants. Seen a few dynasties in my day. I hated the 90s Cowboys. Hated the Brady Patriots… I like the Chiefs! Mahomes is just too fun to watch.

Man, a lot of these are really great. I audibly gasped at that Guardians’ cap. The Rockies purple cap with black pinstripes rules. Are the Marlins using teal or their normal shade of blue?

I have a feeling the hat is going to say “Philly” in that font as well.

So what are the chances that KC goes with white jerseys? Look, you and I know that uniform superstition is dumb, but the Chiefs lost to the Lions in red already this year and they won two road playoff games. These are typically the situations that lead to teams wearing white in the Super Bowl. Kansas City doesn’t really strike me as one of those teams that cares either way however. Edit: I want to add to this post about superstitions not being real, that I definitely cursed the Lions by posting this.

My best guess, from 2,500 miles away, is that there is a genuine excitement about some of the young guys in the farm system that have started coming up. Looks like another very short window is opening for the Pirates before it is blown up again in a few years.

I’d wait for Neil deMause to go over the fine print before I start getting excited. I hope it works out though. The most important detail in all of this, Fergs continues to exist!

I only just realized that there are two Monday night games for weeks 2 & 3. Why? Is this new for this season or have I just never noticed?
