  1. I give the bengals credit because most of the time they choose contrasting socks with their pants. The jets could be somewhat tolerable if they’d follow suit. I still say most $1000 uniforms are being ruined by $10 socks.
  2. I am a little confused as to why the penguins brought back the robo penguin, but shunned it for the sleeve patches for the original white RR and current black diagonal Pittsburgh jersey. Now the penguins have a white away jersey and THREE black jerseys with THREE different penguins in their rotation this year. Seems kinda redundant…especially when their standard jerseys (with the proper skating penguin and gold triangle) are far superior.
  3. I think the somerset patriots is the best of the bunch so far. Not sure if these are for a hat or a sleeve patch because some of these logos are too busy for a hat
  4. Without having to dig through 170 pages and me being too technologically impaired, did anyone notice the bucs now use black helmet clips? Does anyone else use colored clips? I thought they were all clear
  5. Team: hey Nike, our team wears gold (or silver or pewter) pants. Can you make them shiny like the old days? It’ll really make our helmet/uniform pop in the sun. Nike: best we can do is some random same color shiny stripes on your collar or underarms that serves no aesthetic or athletic purpose.
  6. And unnecessary boat references that actually appear on the uniform rather than some tee shirt at a spring practice
  7. Not sure about this year, but they have in the past. I’m pretty sure the dark green jersey suffered the same fate as the yellow one.
  8. Aside from being bfbs, the Miami nights have slowly gotten worse. The OG ones were just their normal uniforms blacked out. I think they used them two years. The 2.0 featured the orange chrome mask and neon tube stripes on the lid, and these 3.0 are kinda lame using actual neon colors and a blacked out logo. That being said, any of the three are miles above adidas first go around with silver and the tire tread template (and a corresponding white version). Where it gets totally ridiculous is when they wear black, green, some recycled ocean garbage uniform and end up wearing orange like 4 times max.
  9. The tigers might be one of the exceptions to that rule.
  10. I think (maybe lovie?) did that as an old school tradition or something…also, weren’t their legs too hot? I mean look at all that dark navy in the sun.
  11. I see all this talk of WAH (ridiculous if you ask me), can someone explain to me how all these high school and college players manage to do it? I mean, it’s so hot in Miami, the dolphins wear white at 1 pm, yet 24 hours earlier in the same stadium, the hurricanes wore dark green or just had a blackout game.
  12. I think the bone could have worked (aside from the white stripes and the name tag on the front) if they would have just had a proper white jersey and treated it like Seattle treats their gray alternate. Speaking of Seattle, if they are getting throwbacks next year, what goes? Gray or green? I mean they could keep them all, but I don’t think the rules allow for 5 jerseys (unless you’re the 49ers cause they’re allowed anything)
  13. Wasn’t Virginia a gray mask team also? Navy looks so much better.
  14. When they first hired Arians, I believe they wore white at home once that season. As a lifer, I know they wear a ton of white, but it’s getting harder to see their standard red/pewter especially with red/white, pewter/pewter and soon to be throwbacks.
  15. Try being a Bucs fan wanting to see red over pewter and next year they have the throwbacks.
  16. My goodness, I think that panther helmet is just the riddell eclipse fashion helmet from a few years ago. Same generic one color logo as well.
  17. The link was for an Astro jersey so I was referring to fanatics slow shipping and often error filled order fulfillment
  18. Yeah, but they are offering free shipping being a fanatics store, you’ll get your Cubs jersey just in time for the wild card round.
  19. Odd question, if the browns are going to use a helmet as a logo, why not a current style? PS I don’t see the rabbit either.
  20. I’m not defending the aesthetic of the independence caps or the American blue jay hat, but to play devils advocate here, I believe these exist solely to sell them, but probably under the guise of (I think) they are a road team that day and joining in the celebration of a holiday in a country where you’re playing and joining the celebration with your other teams in said league/nation. Before you get at me, no, they probably won’t have an opponent (or league) in Canada day outfits. I’m just trying to come up with an explanation.
  21. There’s two ways to look at the commanders possible yellow pants 1) using madden as a guide can be wrong. See bears orange pants. 2) they could be an add on like the browns orange pants…which happened to not be available for the reveal and probably had nothing to do with fan outcry
  22. I didn’t know the locals used that. It’s kind of fitting because the hat looks like it would be for sale in a travel kiosk in their airport.
  23. If MKE is a popular abbreviation, why has every score bug I’ve ever seen use MIL?
  24. Come back after a day and see the eagles have unnecessarily over simplified a word mark and the saints ruined their alternate look (probably due to nfl technicalities). The saints literally can have their normal helmet, a white version (with black, gold or white mask), or a black version (black or gold mask) and pair it with any uniform combo…except that one.
  25. I 99% get the softball vibe. The other 1% comes from those turn ahead the clock uniforms.
