  1. it matches closely with Font Shop's "Water Tower" (regular K), but i cannot find it online. Water Tower is a stencil version you can reattach if you just need a base. https://www.fontfont.com/fonts/water-tower/regular#tab-sample
  2. try Abadi (Condensed Extra Bold)
  3. Knights = Wedding Text (modified to remove serifs), custom "K".
  4. Lukaku nameplate = Highway Gothic "C" or "D"
  5. Timbers = try Stainless Black or Prometo XBold. both are close w slight modifications.
  6. Phil 76ers = Clearface Black
  7. not sure of the font, but i have restored an exact version of that car (graphics kit). there is a big money Porsche museum owner locally and they had our shop recreate the livery for one of the display cars.
  8. Hahahaha...speaking of things I see on a daily basis...I'm just about positive Pilot's font (the "myrewards" font) was custom created--I may be wrong about that, though. I'm actually curious about that myself. As for the rest of that advert...Museo Slab [italic]. No freeware version exists that I know of. the "my rewards" looks like a freebie on DaFont called Bayformance or Kenyan Coffee (extended).
  9. the ESPN MNF above is Agency FB Bold.
  10. the 2014 adidas football catalog PDF has all of the characters and numbers for Red Zone, in addition to a handful of other type styles that can be extracted if needed.
  11. it's a modified Agency FB Bold
  12. i see it more of a face shield vs the reins. i dig the dragon slay "K" but think more color contrast between the sword, handle, and dragon could be tweaked to make it look a little better. ... and missed in the concept, slaying "Homer's folk!? " that's terrible
  13. anyone know if the old Western Carolina typestyle is a font? http://content.sportslogos.net/logos/35/2724/full/4614_western_carolina_catamounts-wordmark-1995.png
  14. Oly = LHF Ballpark Script Farms etc = LHF Mike's Block
  15. i agree w PC, WTF is extremely helpful. i use it regularly if/when i get stuck. if the WTF automator can't match it, post it in the forums. usually if it's (fairly) common you'll get an answer in under an hour. with the phone apps, it's way busier than it was a few years ago.
  16. illy has still not gotten a handle on simple drop shadow (and options) like other the graphics programs had figured out years ago. adobe wants you to use the Effect>3D>Extrude & Bevel, but i find it does not give me the results i'm after. you can make an offset path of the object, copy the offset path at the preffered drop and distance, and merge the 2 outlined path objects, then go back and manually remove the step drop/inset corner points to give it the look of a drop shadow (but that's extra steps for something that should be simple). i've seen other similar workarounds using a copy of the original object and Object>Blend Options (set steps to 256), Object>Blend>Make, then Expand, and Merge>Add. same problem arises, lots of unwanted corner points that need to be cleaned up. i use another program for this type of drop shadows. any better ways to do it in illy would be appreciated.
  17. by "keyline" i assume you mean a white border. you can do this with the Object>Path>Offset Path>offset distance option, or it sounds like you just used the stroke option. Select Window>Stroke or [Ctrl+F10] you will open the Stroke Pallete. Under the weight and mitre selections is "align stroke", adjust that to be either center offset, inside offset, or outside offset. i think it's center by default.
  18. if by shadow, you mean "shading" ont he jersey itself... i usually draw the shaded areas and reduce the transparancy, or add a gradient blend of the base color to a darker/lighter color. it gives it a more realistic look. as for linking images, on your photospin image, right click and open "Properties" and copy the URL (in this case, it's "http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn296/byrnezy20/template.jpg"'>http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn296/byrnezy20/template.jpg"). in the reply toolbar of this site there is a photo, click it and it inserts the tags for you to link the image to, paste the URL into the link, and it'll pop up. other sites you may have to code as you go (ie: enter"[ img ]http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn296/byrnezy20/template.jpg[ /img ]" (only without the spaces in the img holders) and you should get
  19. very similar to Eurostile, but not exact
