This existed on the wall of the Coliseum for about a decade. I asked about it, but was told it was just how the designer wanted it. I have never been able to find it on any merch

And it retains the shimmer silver! Good on the Canucks for opting out of the RBK template. Still, I find myself missing these colours from time to time. Same with the wordmark-less Orca.

I get the feeling Reebok wanted to do this design for all 30 teams. Thank god Tampa ditched it, but the Pens and Sens both need updates.

That jersey launch was a massive failure. 16/26(not counting the 5 teams that kept their basic jersey prior) teams have already ditched their Reebok Edge designed jerseys, and it has been less than a decade.

Best picture I could. The 'Black' Jays logo/jersey was only worn for one season while Montreal was still in the league. Ironically the last game the Jays/Expos ever met in was in Porto Rico

Also, this attests to the theory that the MLB was trying to sabotage the ownerless Expos. The Jays always drew over 40k in Montreal, but this series of games only drew less than 20k. And it was in a part of their schedule that made no sense to go that far away from home

I have brought up the price issue before. I for one have never bought a counterfeit jersey (and never will), but if there is any good that comes of this situation, it's that it SHOULD force Nike and Reebok to not overcharge for their jerseys.

Reebok has even marked up the old CCM retro jerseys. Those cost practically nothing to make Pre 2002, you could get a name on a replica jersey for $100, in 2006 it was $179-$199, and now it's over $200

That's a 100%+ markup in just 11 years.

lol ill never understand the NCAA. They have literally suspended kids for taking just hundreds of dollars from outside sources, but it's ok to give them thousand dollar rings, with real diamonds and gold?

I think this was taken in the pre-season of 2009/2010. He signed with NJ half way through the 08/09 season.

That makes this pic even rarer. He only played like 3 pre-season games that year.

The banners at the NHL Draft were replaced by boards that illuminate the logo of the team that is on the clock. Also, the teams are sorted by their (new) divisions instead of just by conference.

I never really cared for or liked the old Mighty Ducks of Anaheim primary uniforms. Quite frankly I wish they adopted the two alternates they had in the late 90s as full-time primaries and adopt a purple third jersey in that style instead.

Are "4th": jerseys still allowed? They are the only team that I know of to have 2 alternates. Throwback or "NHL Vintage Jerseys" are considered a separate thing. The Ducks stopped wearing the green "4" jersey and the '99 season, and stopped wearing the white 3rd jersey shortly there after.
