  1. Saginaw Wheels jacket Found this at the Goodwill in Saginaw for $1.80. Long live the Colonial Hockey League! :hockeysmiley:
  2. $20 each at Marshall's in Rochester.
  3. My History teacher has that exact same tie! That tie is awesome! Great find!
  4. Devils no more The Dayton Devils, due to "a conflict outside our control" are no more. They've changed their name to the Dayton Demonz. And no, that's not a spelling error due to mistake-prone typing, they are using a z instead of an s in a plural word. OTOH, the franchise's "Double Ds" logo will remain.
  5. Fire Up Chips!!! I'll second that... FIRE UP CHIPS!
  6. Stafford is playing catch with the Rams defense.
  7. Lake Orion Salvation Army: $6 Lake Orion Salvation Army: $8 (It's a large, but nearly fit me )
  8. Found a couple things today: Indianapolis Ice replica jersey Lapeer Goodwill: $3.49 Chris Webber Golden State Warriors jersey and a North Carolina jersey Davison Salvation Army: $2.50 for the Warriors jersey, $3 for the North Carolina jersey
  9. My brother designed this Flint Spirits shirt for me a few months ago. Also found this Saginaw Lumber Kings jersey on eBay earlier this summer:
  10. Found a couple things today at the Goodwill in Caro: Detroit Pistons Grant Hill reversible jersey--$3.49. Chicago Bulls Scottie Pippen jersey--$3.49.
  11. Nice jersey! My guesses on the "tweaks": 1. Vintage white 2. Collar laces (a Reebok standard anymore) 3. Some form of shoulder patch (the 11-point Leaf?)
  12. http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Hockey/NHL/Phoenix/2012/07/29/20040851.html Of course he's $20 million short...
  13. Hopefully this means the end of Ryan K-Burn. One can only hope. With Young, Jackson, Boesch, and Berry rotating the outfield and Dirks coming back soon it's hard to see where Leyland would stick him. Unless he pulls the same crap he did with 3B last year after the Betemit trade. If Leyland continues to play Rugburn, Dombrowski better intervene. We'll probably hear the same "he'll play against lefties" nonsense from The Black Lung (Leyland) that we heard last year. Of course, that mess at third could have been avoided if the Tigers simply did the logical thing and cut Inge instead of platooning him with the guy that replaced him. Raburn has no bat and is lousy in the field, and he's not going to get on one of his patented hot streaks. Just cut him loose.
  14. Hopefully this means the end of Ryan K-Burn.
  15. New Spirit Thirds Nice-looking jersey. I like these better than last year's thirds.
  16. Not a jersey, but worth posting. 1987-88 Red Wings highlight tape--$0.50 at the flea market in Marlette.
  17. So jealous. What size? I got this a few years back at a garage sale for $5 It's an adult medium. Looks like it was only worn a few times too.
  18. Found this at a garage sale in Marlette for $5.
  19. Found this on eBay, a 1996-97 Saginaw Lumber Kings home jersey, for $29.99. The Lumber Kings were Saginaw's last pro hockey team before the Spirit arrived. The team moved to Saginaw from Chatham and were the Saginaw Wheels for two seasons (1994-96), the Lumber Kings for two seasons (1996-98) and then the Gears for 1 1/2 years (1998-2000, moved to Ohio in December 1999). The Lumber Kings were pretty awful, but I'm glad I found this jersey.
  20. I would like to see in person: 1. A hockey championship presentation. (Went to Game 5 of the 2011 Kelly Cup Finals in Kalamazoo) 2. Stanley Cup Finals Game 3. Rose Bowl 4. Ohio State vs. Michigan at Michigan 5. Central Michigan in a Bowl Game (3 straight Motor City Bowls) 6. Michigan Football game (2004 vs. Iowa) Would like to happen in my lifetime: 1. Maple Leafs win the Stanley Cup 2. Lions win the Super Bowl 3. Tigers win the World Series 4. Flint back in pro hockey in a stable league 5. Saginaw Spirit winning the Memorial Cup 6. Port Huron with a well-supported, professionally run hockey team (preferably the Falcons) that sticks around for many years
  21. A few that come to mind. 1. The Red Wings losing to the Penguins in Game 7 in 2009. 2. The Flint Generals folding in 2010 after their surprising run to the Turner Cup Finals (haven't set foot in Perani Arena since Game 3, btw). 3. The Port Huron Icehawks taking a 3-1 lead in the 2008 Turner Cup Finals...only to lose in double OT in Game 7 to Fort Wayne. 4. The Detroit Vipers taking a 3-zip series lead in the 1999 Eastern Conference Finals...then losing the series in 7 on a very questionable call in double OT. 5. The Icehawks, again, taking a 3-1 series lead against Fort Wayne in the 2010 semifinals...and, again, losing in 7 to the Komets. 6. The Chicago Cubs' epic collapse to the Marlins in 2003. 7. Michigan football during the Rich Fraudriguez era. 8. CMU Football during the Mike DeBord years. 9. The Generals losing to Quad City in the 1997 and 1998 Colonial Cup Finals. 10. The 2010-11 Port Huron Fighting Falcons season
  22. I was born in 1982. Here's the championship breakdown of the teams I follow (or followed, for those teams that folded): Detroit Red Wings: 4 Stanley Cups (1997, 1998, 2002, 2008) Detroit Pistons: 3 NBA Titles (1989, 1990, 2004) Detroit Tigers: 1 World Series Title (1984) Detroit Lions: 0 (1 playoff win in 1991!! :boogie: ) Toronto Maple Leafs: 0 Flint Generals: 2 Colonial Cups (1996, 2000) Detroit Vipers: 1 Turner Cup (1997) Port Huron Fighting Falcons: 1 Northern Division Regular Season and Playoff Title (2012) CMU Football: 5 MAC Titles (1990, 1994, 2006, 2007, 2009) CMU Basketball: 2 MAC Tournament Titles (1987, 2003) Chicago Blackhawks: 1 Stanley Cup (2010) Michigan Football: 12 Big Ten titles outright or shared (1982, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2003, 2004), 1 National Title (1997)
  23. Found this Cubs shirt at the VF Outlet in Birch Run. Didn't buy it, but got a good laugh out of it. Since when, 1908?
