  1. For your Idaho cap, I'd put either the state outline OR the I, not both the way you have them. Right now, the cap logo looks like it says "LI".
  2. For a pub trivia team, the original, silly logo is fantastic. I love the question marks in the crown. You did a great job there conveying what this is and what it's for. As far as the other logos, I do think they're fantastic, but I feel like the one not in the badge could stand to be a little wider.
  3. I remember Phoenix Design Works created some fluffy thing for South Dakota State University that they didn't end up going with, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.
  4. I really like the secondary logo at 0:30 in the reveal video. I'd make that the primary. But I hate the bevel in the "C" logo.
  5. UCF just needs to go full Citronaut for everything. Own the "Space U" thing.
  6. Now the new SIUE logo looks a smidge more like the logo that they had previous to the more abstract one: The fact that the left whiskers on the new cougar get cut off bugs me a little bit.
  7. Random thought for the moose: why not make the caps have antlers only? Kind of like the Philadelphia Eagles do with their helmets.
  8. Southland Conference Navigates Its Path with Dynamic Rebrand - Southland Conference
  9. And there are others, extant and no longer in use: Tufts Jumbos (from the stuffed hide of Jumbo the elephant that P.T. Barnum brought to campus) Williams Ephs (short for Ephraim Williams, the founder of the college) Webster (MO) Gorloks (from the school's location on the corner of Gore and Lockwood Avenues) UCF used to be the Citronauts (referencing space exploration and orange farming) FIU used to be the Sunblazers (based on its location in sunny Miami) I'm sure there's more, but those are just off the top of my head.
  10. I'd love to see how the numerals would look in the same font as the wordmark. And this is just a thing with me, but I hate asymmetrical helmets. Other than that, this concept is bangin'.
  11. No way they go with "Squad" since that's heavily associated with a few congresswomen, and no way they go with "Blue Fog" because that sounds like it's aligning with the Democrats. (Not saying that those names have anything to do with those things, but you know that many would see it that way.) I feel like Revolutionaries has kind of similar connotations to Colonials, so I doubt they go with that. George Washington was never an ambassador, so I doubt they go with that. Truth is just awful. If it were up to me, I'd choose Sentinels.
  12. According to the mothership, Tennessee State used that logo for a while
  13. To be pedantic, Fresca is a grapefruit-flavored citrus zero sugar drink.
  14. I dig the new husky head. A clean update, and with the shape being completely closed now, it makes it easy to have a distinct keyline.
  15. Couple of things: I like the brand guidelines presentation you put together. Very well thought-out. My one issue is the name itself. If I were to say my logo was designed by Bootleg Design, it would come off, at least to me, like a stolen design or something. Given how rampant that seems to be in this world, leaning into it might work against you. But I'm just an idiot with an accounting degree, so take that with a grain of salt. The L-boot logo does look like a soccer cleat/sock pairing. I get that you were trying to be ambiguous, but it doesn't feel that way to me. Again, grain of salt. Little nitpicks: On slide 3, it's heroes' journey. You have a misplaced apostrophe. On the very last slide, the L-boot is a different shade of gray/black than the rest of the wordmark.
  16. Don't the Chicago Bears have the same issue? Here's one I noticed yesterday. The Rams' white jerseys have plain shoulders. There's enough room there for TV numbers, but they leave them blank.
  17. There must be one guy on the team doing these that's into sports logo design. It seems like one out of every four, roughly, are ones that look like legitimate sports logos.
  18. Yeah, they wanted to make it clear that you didn't necessarily have to be Baptist to enroll there. They do still employ William Lane Craig though.
  19. Somerset and Wichita are the best two, by far. Both of those are good enough that they could become full-time logos. Toledo's is pretty good, and so is Greeneville's.
