  1. Does it have an old school Orlando Magic feel to anyone else?
  2. The D err... G-League is run and operated by the NBA and most of its teams. The league is now in a position where it can offer kids an option outside of the NCAA, controlling salaries, Development and all revenues on game day. The league is a new revenue stream, and penetrates the league into more communities. It’s a major success. The NFL is big enough to essentially eliminate or limit any start up, should they cut into the NFL’s audience, profits or exposure. The XFL and other new spring league(s) have a chance to become slightly relevant, if the NFL looses a season. However, it’s a small chance. Currently, the NFL doesn’t need to protect itself from any other start up, so they’ll probably just see how well the new leagues are received, and act accordingly.
  3. The F is fantastic. Name, lame but I kinda like it. Primary is pretty bad
  4. I love that Nuggets Jersey so much
  5. They follow up last year’s beauties with THESE?!?! What rubbish
  6. Love the colors! Still trying to decide if I like the design. Better than the current though.
  7. I like it, but I feel somethings a little off. The more I look at it, I think it’s the grey. If they turned the spartan’s skin color plain white, I think it would improve the look. Either that or add the feet elsewhere in the logo. The grey sticks out like a sore thumb
  8. Theyll be out of SAP Center within the next five years, and relocate to Sac, Fresno, Stockton or somewhere else in the bay.
  9. The Sharks made a mistake choosing the Barracuda name. I think they should have embraced the past and gone with Seals. The good news is this team’s placement has always been temporary. Look forward to a name change when they move. I selfishly want them to move to the Sacramento area. They have had talks with my Alma mater Sacramento State on helping to build an 8k+ seat arena on campus.
  10. My alma mater Sacramento state could use an update. I like the weird S logo, but we need a solid second and third logo. They recently brought back the old “mosquito” logo, which is a D+ at best, and if you’re being generous. But, this is a DI school that still plays in a glorified middle school gym for basketball, so, I’m not holding my breath.
  11. I absolutely loved these. I think Montreal has one of the most boring looks, and these gave them a much more aesthetically pleasing look.
  12. So, they’re saying adios to adidas and want to say hola to Mexico. Maybe Athletica or Voit are interested
  13. Charlottesville Flames? Tiki torch references automatically pop into the head.
  14. I’m in the extreme minority here, but I really like what they did. The only change I would suggest would be using the old rainbow-city scape jersey as their 3rd.
  15. The Bay Area is a unique market. There are three big cities and several other 100,000+ communities that make it up, all with distinctly different cultures. Many, if not most, who live in San Jose, Oakland, Santa Rosa, Fremont, Walnut Creek and the like don’t want to be labeled as San Francisco, when they’ve had a team for over 40 years represent the entire bay. Yes, they were the SF Warriors, but it was for less than a decade, and long, long before any of the younger Warriors fans were born. Golden State isn’t Bay Area specific, but it’s neutral and has a long history with this community. There is is an undercurrent of resentment between the bay communities, but at the same time a sort of sibling love and brothership. I am an avid sharks fan, but I have to admit, they move to SF and rebrand, I’m not watching as much or following as avidly. Likewise, when the Niners relocated to the South Bay, SF residents and those on the peninsula were pissed, and remain pissed (not all, but a lot. Many I’m related to or have known my whole life). What I’m getting at is they have been the Bay’s team for over 40 years, not San Francisco’s. Oracle (and the Coliseum before that) was often full before the current Warriors were around (when we were truly horrid!) and has always been a staple throughout the bay. It may sound really silly and trivial to non Bay Area people, but it is a real issue amongst the community.
  16. Thanks to the Buccaneers, Jags and Browns, I no longer have any lofty expectations for nfl teams. This was one hell of a “meh” look, in what’s becoming a more of a “meh” looking league
  17. This Warriors fan is very, very happy. While many outside of the Bay Area may see using a San Francisco moniker as a plus, it’s not exactly a plus for many Bay Area natives.
