I like it, but I feel somethings a little off. The more I look at it, I think it’s the grey. If they turned the spartan’s skin color plain white, I think it would improve the look. Either that or add the feet elsewhere in the logo. The grey sticks out like a sore thumb

Dang, that's well done. My internal critic says logos and script that take on neon signage should be considered gimmicky, gaudy and lame, but, the Redbirds are none of those. Well executed.

The Great West League Yuba City ball club will be named the Yuba City Bears. The Pecos League have filled the void left by the Cal League detracting by adding Bakersfield and High Desert to their lineup, and now appear to be poised to add Monterey to their league as well. That's sad, and a little haunting being a Raiders fan. Man, I feel for St. Louis fans, but at the same time I am happy for LA fans getting their team back.

New Orleans has been tossed around too. Not too long ago they were a target of the Astros. They wanted to move the Zephyrs to the Houston metro area.While Vegas has gotten to the point where they are always the last AAA affiliate left at the dance in agreements, and I wish they would bounce, I have a gut feeling it's New Orleans who is the team to leave. If they want, I could see NOLA possibly as a Texas League team down the road if they choose to reemergeI wonder if there would be interest in the indy league circuit if NO was to loose it's team? They have a large beautiful ballpark. Thinking along the lines of being a travel partner for the Skeeters in the Atlantic League. But the Texas League would be a good option too. However, this is all based on rumor so far
