  1. Hey you can pick in the draft now. Can't send you messages.

  2. West Virginia makes some sense. Solid program, I welcome them.
  3. You'd think it'd have to be Clemson or Florida State. Both I think would fit in well with the SEC crowd. Clemson has a rivalry with South Carolina, and Florida State with Florida. Really that's about it when it comes to the SEC. Virginia schools make no sense, and really what would be the best I think is a merge between the ACC and Big East, maybe invite Central Florida, then boom you have a pretty decent conference to combat the rest of the country. It's so easy writing about it, but in reality it's a lot more complicated then just moving schools and thinking they'll fit in, but who knows these conferences are like lemmings if one jumps off the proverbial cliff, the others are sure to follow. Terrible comparison I know but they're either setting themselves up to be great or ruin the College Football landscape as we know it.
  4. Wrote this in the TAMU peacing thread. Well I think this will set off a firestorm leading to the end of Big XII football altogether. Texas is destined for Independence, Pac 12 wants 16, the Oklahoma schools and Kansas schools make sense to go there. Baylor, Mizzou, Tech and Iowa State will find homes no doubt about it. Unless the are really serious about SMU, Houston, etc and I doubt BYU would leave being independent, I think the end is near. Of course I don't know all the paperwork logistics, but to me I think it's only a matter of time.
  5. I'd take Southern Miss over UTEP in any Big 12 expansion.
  6. Probably the end of the Big 12 all together. The PAC-12 probably wants to get into the 16 team super conference party sooner rather than later, so they'd probably draw Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma and OK State. Then the rest would go to the Mountain West to keep that conference afloat.
  7. Hey I can't do the ALT Baseball Draft, way too busy right now, but thanks for the invite.

  8. Mailbox has been cleared.

  9. Personally, I hope they put CLB in the East, for logic's sake. Having PIT and WSH in the same division is a pretty good idea from a rivalry standpoint, but I don't think it makes sense geographically. Personally (tweaking your suggestion) I would move DET to the Midwest, CLB to the South, and PIT to the East. But I favor geography over other criteria, so that might be why we would set things up differently. Overall though, I'm more in favor of the current 5-team division system. First of all, if hurts less when your team finishes last in a 5-team division. Second of all, I feel that with smaller divisions, the inter-division rivalries become more "personal." As far as "geography" goes, why would you separate the Jackets and Pittsburgh? Just put 'em both in the South and you've still got 7 and 8 in the east. Then who replaces Columbus in the midwest? Detroit would be logical, but I think they'll move them out East. The names Pacific/Midwest/East/South are probably just placeholders because a lot of them don't make sense, it was like Carolina and Atlanta in the old NFC West. Personally I hope they go with named divisions and everyone forgets about Geography.
  10. Looks like the NHL is going in a totally different direction with realignment next season. Link. - Four divisions: Pacific, Midwest, East, South - It's believe either Detroit and Columbus would move to the Eastern Conference. - Teams would play a balanced 82-game schedule with home-and-home against teams outside their division. - The top four teams in each division would make the playoffs. The first round would be divisonal play, the teams would then re-seed for conference play. Bettman’s idea would not affect a East-West Stanley Cup final matchup. - With 30 teams, one division in each conference will have eight squads while the other will have seven. Under the current format — two conferences and six divisions — division winners and the top five teams make the playoffs. Let us speculate! Pacific - Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Colorado, San Jose, Los Angeles, Anaheim, Phoenix (8) Midwest - Winnipeg, Minnesota, Chicago, St Louis, Dallas, Nashville, Columbus (7) East - Boston, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Detroit, Buffalo, NY Islanders, NY Rangers (8) All the original six teams except Chicago. South - Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Washington, Carolina, Tampa Bay, Florida (7) Just based on placement on a map and I know the NHL wants Pittsburgh and Washington together.
  11. Those Packer rings are to die for. Lets go get some more boys!
  12. Minnesota would most likely go to the central with Winnipeg to the northwest. Dallas and Corado stay where they are. Nah. You keep Minnesota to develop a Backyard rivalry with Winnipeg (Manitoba Falcons) shift Colorado to the Pacific and Dallas to the Central.
  13. Your mailbox is full so I was just wondering if there is a new link to the soccer kit templates.

  14. Posted above but here's what it looks like. New Big Ten alignment. • Michigan, Nebraska, Iowa, Michigan State, Northwestern and Minnesota. • Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin, Purdue, Indiana and Illinois.
  15. Makes sense as the Big Ten has there basketball tournament in Indy only fitting Football would be there. Though I would love to have see the Big Ten take the Conference Championship outside be it Columbus, Green Bay, Ann Arbor, whatever.
  16. The only feasible plan would be that Colorado would move to the pacific but I know Minnesota would love to get out of the Northwest and play in the central.
  17. This always bugged me in the NBA. I know New Orleans was in the Southeast Division until Charlotte came back in to the league, Then the Hornets moved out west. But why haven't Memphis and Milwaukee been swapped? Is it just because of Milwaukee's rivalry's with Chicago or whoever (If that's even a rivalry) and that they wanted to keep the Grizz in the West when the left from Vancouver.
  18. For sure MacInnis but they haven't showed any effort on trying to retire his number or honor him in any of the alumni nights for the 30th Anniversary this season. I'm pretty sure that Theo's 14 will be hanging from the rafters though next season.
  19. Scanned this from a recent game guide, Took forever but they finally aliened the banners and made them all the same size. My only problem is they didn't make Lanny and Vernon's jersey banners red. There are also Roughnecks and Hitmen banners scattered around the rest of the rafters.
  20. Management/Coaches Mac-T'd him didn't use him to his full potential it sure came around and bit us on the A$$ in 04'
  21. Thank God we only have a few more years of looking at it
