Color Rush with the black alternate helmets for the Saints Sunday in Atlanta…
I'd be fine with that IF they ditched the black helmets but nice to see that those are being worn this year.

So I am going to guess the City Connect will be purple.
The Serpientes is staying the same at least for the '24 season

Don’t think it has been confirmed but someone from the Mariners made a comment suggesting they may update. I can’t find the quote but it had to do with the font on one of their jerseys (either the name or number, maybe both) not matching the rest of their set. The person said something to the extent of “it would be fixed next year.”Is the kerning going to be FINALLY fixed on the navy blue jerseys?

Their "official" rotation, which they're good at sticking with (with one exception) even in playoffs is:
1. Home Pinstripes (all home night games except Thursdays)2. Home cream throwback (all home day games except Thursday and opening day, where they wear the home pinstripes regardless of start time)
3. Powder-blue throwback (Thursday, except for opening day if it falls on a Thursday)
4. Red alt (getaway day) (but they've typically skipped this in the playoffs after such a short "road trip". My guess is it was just a slumpbuster last night.)
5. Road gray (all road games except for getaway day)
IMO, for playoffs they should only wear home pinstripes and road grays. No alts. And the red alt Sucks. Besides just general suckage, the chainstitching of the wordmark clashes with the flat-red fabric of the jersey and looks awful.
EDIT: according to this site, here's the breakdown (can't vouch for accuracy, but seems reasonable)
1. Home Pins: 47x
2. Road Grays: 61x
3. Home Powders: 8x
4. Home Cream: 26x
5. Road Red: 18x (including second game of double headers if it's getaway day)
That's based on eyeballing that site (they don't provide totals for some reason) so my math may be off by one or two, and if there were any stupid pandering alts, I just went with what it looked like on the page at a glance.
It's funny - I associate them with the home pins a lot more than whatever percentage 47x would be, and same with road gray - I thought that would be closer to 70, not 61.
Nah they're pretty reliable as far as tracking goes. I wish that there was a full database going back to before 2012 for things like this

Dead last ones for me are the Arenas, the ketchup and mustard Flames, and the Vancouver ones
At the top is the Sabres ones and both Jets Heritage Classic jerseys.
The rest...I can't really rank -

The Commanders yellow pants apparently are an option. It's in Madden and usually EA takes from style guides for the current day uniforms, that's why the Bears had orange pants as an option, it wasn't because they were going to wear them but because it was actually in the style guide at the time.
Shockingly, the gold/yellow pants are NOT in the style guide...
4 hours ago, ruttep said:The fact that the Bears wearing all orange is technically possible through the style guide is disgusting.
Don't think the Bears have orange pants in the '23 style guide but yes an all orange would be awful

That whole lead-up to the Nike takeover in 2012 featured some of the worst concepts any of us have ever seen.
Oh it absolutely did

Not sure what was going on with the Browns pants last night. But they seemed to be more see through than I remembered. Everyone looked they had sat in white chalk, but it was just the compression pants underneath.
It was really bugging me the entire game. Did Nike switch up the pants too or are these the same ones teams have worn for years?
Apologies if this has already been talked about....
I think this was also part of the new template as well.
Also...while watching this game did anyone notice how BAD the fabric was bleeding on the Washington jerseys last night? -
The. Pants. NEED. Stripes.
This is also why players should have ZERO input on what a new uniform looks like too.- 19

If the Nuggets just removed the dumb gradients off the side, these uniforms would be more than worthy of hoisting a trophy tonight
Except for the fact it is a big part of the team identity

So has it been confirmed at all that the Seahawks are planning on wearing five different jerseys/uniforms? Navy, white, throwback, ugly gray, and hideous green?
Why is it that whenever the state of NFL uniforms takes another step into the toilet, this franchise seems to be leading the way?
I would ditch the grey alternate over the green but that's me

That is good to hear, but do teams actually follow those things anymore? Seems like teams mix and match whatever they feel like these days. Did the 2021 Jets and Eagles' sheets say they could pair black pants with the white jerseys, for instance?
I believe so?
I'd have to go back and see

panthers pants will probably remain the same, except for the addition of the color rush blue pants in 2023.
I think that they are. Gonna have to take a look again

And obviously with stripes

I think that they got a waiver on those. Why on earth that happened, I couldn't begin to tell you

That could be done so easily! Make a black jersey, gold pants, black pants in this style. Burn the stripeless black pants and the plain white socks. Done! It ties to team history and has the pizazz you would expect from a New Orleans team. The set would be hailed as an instant classic by the vast majority of fans. So much better than the drab, lifeless look they insist on wearing so often today.

If they would make the following changes to these uniforms they could carry on for many, many more years.
Teal jersey: Add gold & black trim around white numbers
White jersey: Add gold & teal trim around black numbers
Black jersey: Add gold & teal trim around white numbers
Pants could use subtle gold/teal/black striping (depending on pants color) but even if left unchanged, with those tweaks to the jersey, the Jags sets would become so much easier on the eyes.Teal Jersey: Gold trim. No black
White Jersey: Teal Trim around GOLD numbers. No black.
Eliminate all the black
They need to back to full on embracing the black as a main colour. Put it back as an accent colour and things will look SO much better

Is there a way to find out what uniform teams will wear before a game? Specifically city connects?
Houston is wearing theirs for Monday home games
I believe San Diego wears theirs for Friday home games
Washington will be Saturday home games as well as Miami I think
Other than that, I dunno what else the schedules will be- 2

I remember this fondly as well. Not only was it here but wasn't there a forum from the old SSUR page as well that broke the internet, too? Or am I dreaming about that?

Have the A's worn the dark green jersey in the past few years? I seem to recall only seeing the kelly green being worn lately.
According to this, it was last worn September 25th, 2021.

More than likely that is also the case. But who the hell knows what will happen. Didn't think the Flyers would ever retire their iconic look either but here we are.

Perhaps the only positive aspect of this situation is that Fanatics may improve the design of the Capitals' jersey, which was inherited from Reebok.
Or may do a complete re-brand as well. The 2024-25 season will also be the 50th anniversary season for the Capitals and now I HIGHLY doubt a special jersey will be made to honour it.
But in the end, a Capitals re-branding will have to happen at some point. Whether it be with Ovi chasing the record or not

That is just about one of the most unnecessary elements ever...
It's been there I think since that uniform unveil about 20 years ago?
