Nike couldn't do the midnight green properly previously. So it's not that far off to think they can't do the kelly properly this time.

It's not really over dramatic. Nike took over the mlb and boom all hell broke loose. Same thing when Nike took over the NBA. The NFL has had the longest tenure with Nike out of the 3 and they had been pretty steadfast in a lot of their uniform policies, but like another said on here, the dam is leaking pretty heavily right now. I dont give a :censored: about scorebugs or checking your phone. When you turn a game on TV, you should be able to know who's playing relatively quickly.

These jerseys ain't terrible. Would have been great to see them for the derby and workouts. But the ASG itself should be teams in their regular rotation unis. No bs nike color rush or whatever the hell they call it. But alternates are allowed like in the 70s when the A's would wear all their unis for the asg.

Does that thing actually get updated? I feel like there is so much missing and inaccurate.

While the red helmet isn't awful, would much rather have seen the Texans go with the initial team unveiling white helmet.

Definitely not that. Would rather have seen them go NWRWN on the shoulders and white pants with same colored striping. Actually could have used that same striping pattern on silv... grey pants.

Problem is the pant's wont even be silver. unless, God willing, they order the pants through Ripon or whoever still has the ability/ desire to make metallic pants.

Surprisingly these have only been worn 5 times (not counting the 09 AFL Anni unis which were different.) The last 2 times were in back to back seasons against the Jets. The year before that against the Vikings and Lions. And the first time in 02 against the Lions on Thanksgiving. So I guess my question would be, do they play the Lions this year?

Can't get my phone to post photos, but just looked up Armstead and Bosa in the 94s and they both look loads better than the 2 stripe standard set. It proves that they can have their classic 3 stripes on the sleeve instead of the 2 they switched to a couple years ago. Pretty sure the only reason they switched is to double dip on jersey sales as they might have felt the 94s weren't different enough than the standard set.

The white reminds me of the original helmet the Texans used as a placeholder. Honestly the white looks great. Red not so much.

What's sad is growing up in norcal I didn't even know who e-40 was until tell me when to go came out. For some reason growing up I was more attracted to East Coast hip hop. So So Def, Bad Boy etc... Never got into west coast and really still not a fan of it.

Not sure where or when the f this boomer thing became a thing, but I'll gladly identify with that generation over my own.

They did that last time tho too. Rice wore red socks for the white top reveal. Maybe a couple other players did too, but they ended up wearing all white. Problem anyway is the NFL is so lax on the socks that we'd end up seeing 43 different combos.

I think the market for fully authentic jerseys is very small. It's way easier to sell an official look a like at $150 than it is to sell a real mccoy at $300+

Was doing a little impulse buying, especially with the Jethawks officially closing up shop and everything 50% off. Went to the Rivercats team shop and noticed the standard Home and Road caps were significantly on sale. Haven't seen any release or news but one would think a change could be happening.

You're crazy. Pretty much all the AFC Champs from that period looked better then not now. Dolphins - Better then Patriots - Better then Broncos - Better then Bengals - Better then Bills - Personally like the Red helmets and no monochrome(white doesn't count unless your're going all white socks) better, this one can be a push. Chargers - Still feel like the Navy 88-06 set was the best they looked, still better than the current, current is just short of good.

In regards to the packers it depends on which throwback they're using, as the most recent throwback can technically be counted accurate as a 94 throwback. I agree that throwback uniforms should be as accurate as possible including helmets. Where I disagree is teams having alternate helmets with their standard look. The helmet is the most identifiable marker on the uniform for the team brand. It's one thing to accurately replicate a complete look from the history of the team. It's a whole other thing to dilute the brand by wearing a random color helmet that is not the standard look for the team. Someone mentioned some teams not being able to have a different color helmet as they've always worn just one. So what? Most of those teams like the Dolphins and Raiders and Chiefs know the equity of the color helmet they use or else they would have changed colors at some point in their history. If the dolphins wanted an orange or aqua helmet they would have changed the helmet color in one of the several uniform changes they've had in the last years.

Aaron Rodgers is only Aaron Rodgers because of his journey in GB. To add credence to your point of the front office being trash (which they kinda still are) had they drafted Aaron chances are his career is more like Smith.

The titans would be so lucky to be able to look like a football team again. That is 1000x better than the trash they look like now.

If we want to knit pick, the niners in the 96-08 look went to the playoffs 5 times. Since 09 and the reebok truncated 3 / nike 2 stripe look they've only been to the playoffs 4 times. Yes 2 SB trips included in that, but lets not pretend like they've been some kinda world beaters since going back to a bastardized version of their "glorydaze" uniforms.

Which is kinda dumb. The Niners are basically playing 1994 dress up now if they do wear both the red and white 94 throwbacks. Would much rather have seen them throw back to 96/97/98 with options for either white or gold pants.

Same with Sacramento. I can't tell how many times I've met people coming to town for Kings games or SacRepublic. There's a big disconnect between Reno and Las Vegas. They'd probably just as well chant Beat LV as nor cal is Beat LA.
