Way down in level from the major leagues, but here's the banners of the top hockey in my small city. Banners at Fort William Gardens in Thunder Bay. Took individual pics then cropped and pasted them together. Here's an inside shot from Saturday's university hockey game - gives you somewhat of an idea how most of the banners are arranged in the old arena - mostly along both sides. The 2005 allan cup banner (not pictured in arena shot) would be in the near left corner if it was in picture and I think is hung lower than the others.

In Canada, in the late 90's Kmart did go under - bought out by the Hudson Bay Company. They made most of them into Zellers store. Now Zellers is no more - 2 of the 3 Zellers in my city are going to be Walmarts with the 3rd becoming a Target store. so I'll add Zellers to the list:

Checking their shipping info. looks like they are getting away from the brokerage free USPS, and going to the evil brown empire of UPS (along with DHL - not sure about their brokerage fees)

I am thinking about buying a china counterfeit - mainly to completely strip for a concept DIY. Can't find any other alternative unless someone knows of a site that sells a blank brown and gold baseball jersey (in the style of the 1978 Padres) or even a blank brown jersey. Not looking to spend that much and site must ship to Canada with shipping not being insane and not only by UPS (has insane brokerage fees that should be illegal).

There is a free font called Maverick that is somewhat like the "Generals" but it is in stencil format.

Here's my one 'knockoff' that I got years ago off ebay from China or Singapore (don't remember). Was just looking for something different to "match" a red jersey with white and black that I wore on the ice. WHA's Michigan Stags #8 - Gruen. Wear it on the ice once in a while - Didn't know it when i bought it, but has the name of a local player who played for the Stags on the back. Was about the quality I'd expected when i got it - so/so - it's a light mesh jersey. Jersey and striping have held up better than expected - front crest is starting to wear in spots on the red part and will probably wear through completely in spots eventually (in time the numbers will too - made of same type of material). When it wears through and starts looking rough will probably make my own stags crest out of tackle twill to replace it. Have one other sweater that might be a knockoff might be legit - I have no idea. From Korea seller on Ebay a couple years ago: Sabres retro jersey made from wool? or possibly wool/acrylic blend? doesn't say - tag says "Machine Wash in Cold Water. Dry Hand Wash Remove Promptly. No Bleach. Dry Clean Only." (not exactly great washing instructions). Has felt Sabres crest on front - Buffalo is felt swords are embroidered. Tagged Reebok by Roger Edwards on collar and that plus 'Vintage Hockey' on front bottom of jersey. Very nice jersey for wearing around; have worn it around a bit but haven't washed it yet - not sure if it will stand a machine washing, might try washing by hand. Everything else I have are legit replicas, beer league jerseys, or homemade jerseys. Wear almost all of them on the ice in 'pickup' aka 'scrub' hockey. Only have one Reebok jersey for wearing one ice - a replica Milwaukee Admirals 3rd jersey - generally prefer CCM or Athletic Knit or similar jersey style, but loved the look of the logo.

Hi just wondering if anyone new a font that is close to the one used ON THE NUMBERS of the 1975 Houston Astros? here's the biggest image i could find of one. it's the prototype, but the font is the same as the one used by the 75 Astros. thanks to any that reply Astros Prototype
