My Duquesne Dukes are in the tournament for the first time since 1977! My lifelong fandom (I attended one half of one game in the four years I spent there) is finally being rewarded.

i have said to people at work that the MLB should do from July 1st to the Sunday before the all-star game every team wears a throwback jersey (for the newer teams,  something with the history of the city or area).

added all the leagues should do this.

My assumption would be that the 4+1 rule is only for uniforms in their regular rotation and not applied to one-off uniforms/throwbacks.

BUT, if id did mean the end of "holiday" uniforms, it could just be the jersey/pants themselves, but not the caps, as Nike has no control over that, really, since they're New Era.

Since they're not going to play the game, if KC and Buffalo both win this week, then they should award Buffalo the bye based on having the same losses and having won the head-to-head matchup.  Since they're not going to have the same opportunity to win 14 games, it seems reasonable to give them the 1 seed.

The rest of it is much tougher.

how does the MLB do it (if a team plays one less game).

  5. is the Super Bowl set in stone at this point (since moving it would cause a lot more problems at this point).  its not like after 9/11 when they moved the Super Bowl back a week (they had 4 months basically to figure it out).  i know there was some issue at that point but they were able to solve it without to much problems (as in here, we have 6 weeks until the game)

As a Browns fan, I hated Franco Harris when I was a kid, but as I got older I grew to appreciate him and those great Steelers teams of the 70s. He'll always be remembered for the Immaculate Reception, but he was also one of the all-time great running backs. He was one of the biggest stars in the NFL back in the day. And he was a class act.

    R.I.P. Franco.

the play is the Zapruder film of the NFL
