  1. John Elway always did look strange in a Broncos uniform. I'll always think of him as a Colt.
  2. A Hall-of-Famer who played his entire career with one team, led them to back-to-back championships, and is the greatest player in team history? Yes, it absolutely counts.
  3. At least they're both the same colors as his right team.
  4. I agree, except for the stupid white helmets with the blue uniforms. Other than that those uniforms were fantastic.
  5. Hard to believe he's been with the Maple Leafs now longer than he was with the Bruins. I still think of him as a Bruin.
  6. i don't like when concepts give him a flesh tone because silver goes with the pats current color scheme, but i prefer old pat the patriot over the current elvis, if thats what you are asking I don't like either of them. But if I had to choose, I'd choose a fleshy faced Flying Elvis. I don't like the silver face. Just doesn't look right. What about a white face?
  7. The Astros have always been pretty modern and progressive when it comes to uniforms. From the shooting stars to the rainbow stripes, they are a modern team. Now suddenly they jump on the faux retro bandwagon and it looks silly.
  8. That's not an unpopular opinion at all.
  9. I liked those Nuggets uniforms. I wish they would bring them back, probably with a few tweaks though. The colors are great and look much more like Colorado than what they currently wear. Their current colors remind me more of California than Colorado.
  10. Yeah at the time I liked the sand uniforms, but in retrospect I think they were better off switching back to grey. I really liked that they had a unique look, but I was kind of lukewarm about the all sand look. What I really liked was the navy tops with the sand pants, I thought that looked really sharp.
  11. I went to the Rays-Angels game on Friday night, and two of my family members were wearing counterfeit Angels jerseys. It was my first up close and personal first hand experience with counterfeit jerseys. They didn't look horrible, but once I got a good look at them I could pretty quickly that they were fakes. One was a Pujols away jersey, and some of the problems were the A on the front was too skinny, the 5 on the front had a white outline when it shouldn't, and it had the A on the right sleeve, but the left sleeve was blank, and the MLB logo looked terrible. The other was a red Torii Hunter jersey, and it also had a blank left sleeve with an A on the right sleeve, the letters in Hunter's name were really skinny, and one of the halos was gold, like last year, except I think it was supposed to be this year's jersey, and it was only one of them. Overall they both just looked very sloppy, which is typical of counterfeits. I didn't say anything to either of them about it.
  12. Didn't you read the posts right above yours?
  13. Wrong! Kelly green looks great on the Celtics, the Canucks and looked way better on the Dallas Stars when they used to use it. Not too mention the North Stars... some of the greatest jerseys ever to see the ice
  14. Didn't realize that was an unpopular opinion, but I totally agree.
  15. I think these were the best uniforms the Canucks ever had:
  16. I hate BFBS, but I really like the Sharks current black jersey and loved the one before it. The Sharks black jerseys are not BFBS. Black has always been one of the Sharks' colors.
  17. The design and the logos were good, but the color was godawful ugly.
  18. Actually I think that's a very popular opinion. I think I have the unpopular opinion in that I don't mind when certain teams do this such as the Cardinals and Vikings b/c they had logos on the sleeves before but their new designs don't have room for them. However I don't like it for the Bills since they never had a logo on their jerseys before, so it seems strange for them to just suddenly stick a logo above their nameplates.
  19. ^I agree, I like the Broncos better in navy than orange. Although I'm not that crazy about the all navy, but it's not horrible.
  20. Maybe I'm wrong on this, but couldn't he have gotten a custom current jersey with SANDBERG on it? I mean I'm not saying it wasn't a fake, but I don't think that's evidence of it being a fake. I don't think so. I'm pretty sure MLB doesn't allow you to customize current jerseys with retired players' names, managers/coaches names, etc.
