  1. I'd imagine most of them do. It makes it better for the fans sitting in the lower bowl, since they can just walk straight in to their seats instead of going up a flight of stairs or an escalator.
  2. I agree, it's a weird looking stadium. I'm not crazy about the design. It doesn't even look like a football stadium on the outside, just some weird futuristic building. It doesn't look like it serves a function either. And I agree if any city should have an open air stadium, it's LA. A while back the Chargers were talking about their stadium having a soft retractable roof made of a lightweight fabric of some kind. Farmers Field was going to have a removable roof made of a lightweight material that could be removed and installed within a few hours.
  3. There was nothing "gorgeous" about the old Cardinals uniforms. Just dull and boring like their team usually was. The Cardinals were complete horse crap for about 75 years of their existence. Again, their home uniform is very solid now and why some of you keep beating the horse of how "arena league" they are, is beyond some of us. There can be a happy medium. The Cardinals should look traditional, but they don't need to look like they're wearing practice jerseys.
  4. They haven't even played a game yet with that logo.
  5. ^The top one is still possible though.
  6. Hossa's spent so much of his career as a "hired gun" since he left Ottawa, I'd be hard-pressed to name which uniform for him is "right?" Ottawa? Atlanta? Pitts? Detroit? Hawks? Senators and Blackhawks.
  7. Hockey players wearing padded shorts and stockings.
  8. ^Do those two examples really count though? That WAS their home arena for almost 30 years.

  10. It's a shame that the Kings' most beautiful uniforms are associated with some of the worst years in team history, while the most successful years are associated with the blandest uniforms.
  11. Astros trade Jed Lowrie to the A's for a minor leaguer. I'm getting a feeling of déjà vu.
  12. ^^^ potential post for "Unpopular Opinions" thread?Yeah I'll say. Those jerseys were awful. Too classy and professional looking. Looks too much like a baseball uniform. These were so much better:

  14. The Chargers haven't been around for 60 years.
  15. Looks like they were trying to copy the Mighty Ducks. WHAT? The San Jose Sharks predate the Mighty Ducks (team and film) by at least a year!Yes I know that. I was referring to the video. Unless the video came out during the Sharks' first year.

  17. Seems one shade too dark compared to the originals Close enough. It's still the best they've looked since the late 90's. Yeah who cares if it's not a dead match? They look effing great. Also keep in mind a couple things - 1. teal is a weird color as far as photographs go. Same uniform looks like two completely different colors here eh? 2. Back then NHL teams wore dark jerseys on the road. That photo of Arturs Irbe is very likely in another different arena. Not fair to compare photos 20 years apart in two different buildings with different lighting. Sidenote: I hate the lighting in the Shark tank. Way too dark. It looks dark on TV, but it's actually pretty bright in person.
