  1. New Grizz Statement now on the Nike Europe site. Credit to this IG post https://www.instagram.com/p/CixgAWJs2Gu/ https://www.nike.com/es/t/memphis-grizzlies-statement-edition-camiseta-jordan-dri-fit-nba-swingman-HqKTHK/DO9531-422
  2. Might be hard to sell that to Nike since sales would kinda be cannibalized. It's easier to sell two different designs for the City and Classic (for the jerseys and related merch). Also, as much as it would be an improvement for many teams, a whole "set" of Classic uniforms is kind of a slap in the face to the current branding.
  3. yea, the old Classic Jazz uniform will be this season's City uniform. #PurpleIsBackButNotReally
  4. c'mon Charlotte! As for the greyish wood for the Mavs, they seem to be expanding on the extreme "Cowboys energy" of the new Statement uniforms. Ugh. Gimme green, dangit!
  5. Many of those leaks of the Statement jerseys will benefit from seeing the side views
  6. Smh, the team didn't even communicate with Nike, then. Nike is using a material color named Pitch Blue (it has a completely different color code than Black, of course) for the Pistons Statement uni. We'll actually see that color again with one of the City unis. Speaking of Statement uniforms, here's a little tidbit for everyone: we've yet to officially see 14 new Statement uniforms (Cavs, Pistons, Warriors, Spurs, Bucks and Jazz have been formally announced). I have a feeling they'll start to be announced in the next couple of weeks. I don't have info on that, just speculating.
  7. Fwiw, these Pistons unis are dark navy, not black, but only weirdos like us will actually acknowledge that. Casuals will see them as black. As for the design of them, the chest stripe is nice, but the typography and use of 'DET' (that no one identifies with in the city itself) are misses. Obviously, these would be better in red with a 'PISTONS' or 'MOTOR CITY' wordmark in either the current typography or something from the team's history.
  8. Finally, the death of the Chromes, tho what's replacing it isn't much better, haha. All we want is a damned red uniform, Pistons!
  9. i think this will be a court that will be associated with the Statement uniform. one of the endlines uses the same wordmark.

  11. ^ it doesn't look like the "leak", but sadly the general idea is legit.

  13. Condors could work because you could conceptually pivot to sky blue / orange (or red) / black / white as a color scheme and connote San Diego roots. You still keep the "LAC" that they've been using recently. They also need to retain the "urban street" aesthetic they've been keying into. It's a nice contrast to the glitz and glam of the Lakers.
  14. Yea, that about sums it up, but I will say, sadly, that the Clips don't have a change coming. Let's hope they change (at least the logo) when the Inglewood move comes. And that's not an insinuation. Just my personal hope. I wouldn't know about something that far ahead of time.
  15. Back when they first came out, i tried to match that font for the wordmark font... #ShamelessPlug
  16. that's an awful photoshop job, firstly. secondly, that website is not legit at all.
