Some takeaways from 4 U.S. Code § 8:

Would certainly help it stand out a bit more. Distinctive lines and making the beehive more prominent is a great step. Simple is better with flags

It’s very underwhelming imo. Especially the home run they nailed for the 30th.

I always went with a personal observation of "if anyone can do it casually (or while drinking a beer), it's not a sport, it's a hobby"

It's not hard to casually pick up some darts and throw it at a static wall, or pick up a ball and roll it towards static pins, or pick up a club and swing at a static ball.  (Doing it well is a different matter).

When there's some sort of athletic skill to even do the core basics of a game, then you reach sport territory.

Personally, things like Golf, Boxing, Bowling, UFC....none of those are interesting to me at all.  I honestly cannot see why people get so excited to watch millionaires walk around a park and swing a stick at a ball and then get paid insane amounts of money for the privilege to do so.

Do the conference finals trophies have names of people? Maybe the ECF trophy becomes the Jordan trophy and the WCF the… someone else trophy?

Starting this past year for the 75th Anniversary they actually renamed a bunch of the Finals Trophies:

Eastern Conference Champions get the Bob Cousy Trophy

Western Conference Champions get the Oscar Robertson Trophy

Western Conference MVP gets the Magic Johnson Trophy

Yeah I’m from Boston and I can’t stand the blue/yellow. It honestly feels like a massive attempt at cashing in on the feelings people have about the Marathon and the attack. It feels empty. When I think of Boston one of the last things that comes to mind is people running from Hopkinton to Boston.

Boston has much more historical and city-related concepts they could have pulled from. The entire center of the beginnings of the Revolution and the Sons of Liberty? Or something based around the USS Constitution that was built here. Hell they could’ve chosen to go off script that, since they are named for Boston, they could’ve gone with a Pine Tree motif to represent New England as a whole. Hell the MBTA is the first subway in the US if you want to get obscure with something the city has going for it. A uniform incorporating the 4 colored lines would be a visual nightmare but at least feel a bit more “connection” to the city. 
 

I see designs that some of the other teams (no not the Dodgers) and it makes me sad at what could’ve been. Highlighter yellow and powder blue do not make me think of Boston in any way. (And yes I’m aware of the colors of the Boston flag. It’s a bad flag)

Hopefully will be a good series! I’m kind intrigued that two of the three Classic teams both celebrating their 75th are in the Finals. (lol sorry Knicks?) Perhaps we may get those throwbacks in a game or two?

Glad to see they went back to the Impact colors but keeping CF means the Foot is still....afoot.

I like how the shield resembles the old Impact shield as well.  Doing everything they can to resemble Impact without committing to it.

As a Celtics fan-ish I'm amused that 3 of the new trophies are named after former Celtics.

I do like the consistency among all the trophies. Visually they look really nice using the silver as accents on the gold.

Appears to be an intentional DII League as USSF recognizes NWSL as the DI league

I can't recall exactly, but will the new Super League be considered the tier two women's league, much like USL Championship is to MLS? Or is it intended to be a direct competitor to the NWSL .

 

If it's the latter, setting your schedule to run in parallel with the European season is a smart way to draw attention to your product without the noise of a more established competitor. I'd assume this might also have ramifications as it relates to being a player in international transfer windows, but that's just a guess. 

Super League is meant to be the same level as USL Championship

hate that it’s going to be the full roundel and not the R crest alone. Maybe they can eventually do what the Timbers did and go to the simple crest as the primary
