  1. I still feel like they could get away with rotating gray, white, and brown masks on home, road, and alts. Maybe the random white mask with brown over orange.
  2. Agreed. The bone would have looked a lot better with he navy helmet and darker numbers. The updates seem to want to call out glitz and glamour, but paired with dirty underwear it falls flat.
  3. Robert Woods is a former Bill. There ya go.
  4. This is bad. I kinda assumed that part of the reason they split the design is that it'd make for an easier 2-part application. If they were going to make it one piece, they should've just put it against the darker blue with a bit of a keyline to make it stand out a bit more. I really wish they'd followed the Vikings on this one. As time goes on, that overhaul is looking better and better. The closest to a 'modern classic' we've had in 20 years.
  5. I think they should've split the difference with the blues across the board. Lighter than the helmet, darker than the jerseys, and match everything to that shade. I also think a satin or matte shell with gloss horns would do more to make them pop than anything. This helmet and mask combo seems too busy.
  6. I'd love to see them throw in the option of grey and white facemasks as well. A perfect look for me would be grey at home, white on the road and brown for color rush. And some orange pants of course.
  7. i'd argue that the name on the jerseys need to be white. For me, it's right up there with the Dodgers red numbers. So distinctive.
  8. That head logo is absolutely awful. Not sure why everyone is gushing. It looks like somebody took a refined logo and used live trace to copy it. Really feels like they demanded the horn logo in the rams head and forced the perspective around it.
  9. They should really do whatever it takes to get this done. After the all star break, at the very least.
  10. That was a specific script the Rams used on sideline gear in the mid to late 80s.
  11. Very clever idea to gain some buzz for their campaign. https://mlbraleigh.com/the-team/
  12. Nationally, no. Locally, in the moment, he is.
  13. I'd love to see the Lakers honor Nipsey Hussle similar to The TWolves Prince unis. Black and gold with the "Crenshaw" script from his Marathon clothing line. They'd sell like hotcakes.
  14. Looks like the outline is equally weighted now as well. Big improvement, but I'd rather see them move back to the Golden Gate with the move. The off-center bridge bugs me. Just lose the logo on the jersey and go with the "The City" throwbacks as the city edition.
  15. I like it. Simple, uncluttered. Reminds me of an 80s anniversary logo.
  16. Not crazy about the mismatch stripes on the these. It's the tough part of putting pant stripes on the shoulders.
  17. Caught this a while back. Anybody ever noticed the (unintentional) 'P' in the logo?
  18. Cant argue with that. At least its not double Zs.
  19. Sorry if this was posted (I couldn't find it through a search). Posted last week in UniWatch, this seems to be a good idea, but I imagine helmet manufacturers aren't having any of it. http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/25785067/the-sports-helmet-world-the-verge-decorative-revolution
  20. Whats up with that Laker garment peeking in to the NOLA shot? Looks like the old black and gold Hollywood Nights/Mamba colorway, which I actually miss given the new city set.
  21. I'm really not a fan of dropshadows that are lighter that the numeral. It just doesn't register as a shadow as much as an odd offset stroke. I'd much prefer white/purple on yellow, white/yellow on purple, and yellow/purple on white.
  22. I think the Reds are the perfect example of a team that needs to ditch the outline. "Cincinatti" is such a long name, the white out line would only clutter things. The Dodgers "Los Angeles" script is proof. That look improved leaps and bounds sans white outline.
