Is there any font that even comes close? I know that Handel Gothic comes close for the Oregon wordmark and its a modified version and stuff

Anyone know what the number font is? We've been using it for a long time in football and basketball until the new football jerseys came along. Basketball still uses it though. Also, does anyone have the football number font in a font format?

Look for a free font called 1979. BigDmo, probably the closest you're going to get for free is HandelGothic BT. werthj: It's probably custom. I don't recall it being included in eriqjaffe's MLB font pack either. Thanks man, that pretty much is close enough for me.

Guys I really need some help with this one, I've tried google and stuff but this place seems to be the best resource. I'm looking for the best (free) or closest looking font to the numbers used on the Miami Hurricane jerseys There is all of the numbers in case anyone wanted to make it too. I want this font so I can make some jersey's for my GLB team, I already have a couple Miami jersey templates with no numbers if anyone is interested, but I can't find the font anywhere.
