  1. Is this legit? I highly doubt that there would ever be a screen printed fake but I wasn't aware that Nike made any NFL replicas http://www.ebay.com/itm/NIKE-EDDIE-GEORGE-TENNESSEE-TITANS-FOOTBALL-JERSEY-MENS-LARGE-/120893724118?pt=US_Mens_Athleticwear&hash=item1c25d3d5d6
  2. Are these really made in sweatshops though? Most of the counterfeiting rings I've seen taken down were all run by 2 or 3 people, they just had a ton of machines
  3. The amount of Chinese fake LMJ jerseys has been staggering at this year's Duck games. They make me laugh every time. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NWT-Nike-Oregon-BCS-Ducks-Football-Jersey-21-Lamichael-James-Combat-/300632505802?pt=US_NCAA_Fan_Shop&hash=item45ff17fdca
  4. So...by buying counterfeit items we are supporting terrorism. And I thought the speeding analogy was reaching.
  5. Oh I agree, I wouldn't want to wear the on-field thing, however it would be a cool piece to have, no doubt.
  6. Exactly. I have a hard time believing that an "authentic" is really worth the $300 price tag if it isn't even on the field. You can't tell me that a real player's jersey costs more. If so it would cost an astounding amount to dress a football team. Not $300, but gamers definitely cost more than authentics to produce. One big reason is that there's more overall material used, ever seen the length of football jerseys? I have a 42 (M) that runs almost to my knees. The differences in striping or how the numeral/nameplate is affixed is also of a higher quality in gamers. This doesn't even get into the new designs of Pro Combat or TechFit where the on-field jerseys have 'advanced' material. I know most of that is marketing BS, but not all. But if I ever dropped $300 on a jersey I'd want the on field product. I don't see the reason to pay more than $100 for an "authentic". If replicas are $75 and use the same materials/cut then they are seriously jacking up the price of the tackle twill items, which is ridiculous.

  8. I don't know too much about football tech but that "padded practice jersey" made me laugh pretty hard. Who would wear that around? Ha! If you look at some of the additional pictures by scrolling down it just gets worse. The chest pads don't even line up. It says it was made in the US (Nike stuff is notoriously made overseas). And it says it's "Nike Fit Dry"...LOL
  9. LOL, these are just bad http://cgi.ebay.com/Oregon-DUCKS-LeMichael-James-21-BCS-Sewn-Jersey-LARGE-/270780134592?pt=US_NCAA_Fan_Shop&hash=item3f0bc0f4c0 http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Padded-Practice-Jersey-Oregon-Ducks-Football-sz-XL-/280713633787?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item415bd61ffb
  10. Yeah, I wasn't sure about Arizona's white helmets since traditionally their white helmets have had navy facemasks, but after seeing the white helmets on the field this past season, I like them. You like something from Arizona? Shocker
  11. Eh...depends on the color of the helmet. Took the words out of my mouth. IMO, if gray isn't in the scheme, don't make it your facemask color. Arizona Cardinals are the definition of GFFGFS
  12. HandelGothic with a lot of mods
  13. Kinda related but not. Where is the proof that child labor is the main labor used to produce these fakes? The counterfeit busts I've seen have always been mechanized and ran by one adult or small group of adults
  14. Can someone identify the "Burrito Boy" font in this logo?
  15. The "College" and the "Gameday" please
  16. But...I can afford a knockoff, so....isn't that product for me?
  17. This should be an agree to disagree situation. But I'm sure the thread will keep going with the back and forth arguing trying to justify each side.
  18. I think its because players from around the world are allowed to compete in the league.
  19. Might be how I folded it, not sure..either way I am actually pretty satisfied with it for the price. I know I'll lose points among some CCSLCers for buying it but I can't afford a 300 dollar jersey, I can't even afford a replica, I'm a poor college student. In a perfect world we'd all get the best we could, but hey, no one I know will even notice its fake, so yeah.
  20. -I love Oregon's uniforms (although the silver was a little much) -I think the Titans have one of the coolest logos in the NFL -I like the Packers circle number throwbacks -I like the Chargers powder blue uniforms -I hate traditional looking uniforms -I think the NFL should have a uniform rule like college (a who gives a crap what you wear policy)
