  1. Sometimes, the best trades are the ones you don't make? ...
  2. The surprising thing is they were not eliminated earlier.
  3. I am well aware of that, thanks.
  4. But not until after this coming season which happens to be when the sponsorship deal ends.
  5. Yes, which has their logo. A company logo is still company logo.
  6. Yes, Taylor Made PAYS the golfer to endorse and use their equipment during a tour event.
  7. No, I see no difference. Those sports companies paid money to the leagues and teams. It's still advertising even if they produce the uniforms and equipment. This is no different in hockey than it is in golf, or tennis or heck just about every sport.
  8. Nike pays MLB, NBA and the NFL to have their logo feature prominently on the jerseys and (collective) we threw a fit when Nike had their logo on the front of MLB and NBA uniforms. You would be doing the same had Adidas put their logo at that front as well. Basically, if you pay anyone to get your logo on anywhere, it is advertising no matter how much you spin it.
  9. Geno Smith winning a game while wearing a green uniform. Uh... yeah...
  10. ... and the Charlotte Hornets.
  11. Titans wearing all navy blue, but the signage around the field is baby blue... ok...

  13. I think we all do have our limits. But ads on uniforms are the same as being a hit man to take out Nancy Kerrigan.
  14. Get a Sun Belt team in the playoff! (I'm kidding)
  15. Texas and Auburn could not beat Bama huh?
  16. Ladies and gentlemen, the Detroit Bulldogs
  17. Shame they won't be able to play Toronto or Toronto Metro (formerly Ryerson). Because a "GO! LEAFS! GO!" chant would have been great there.
  18. Piers Morgan crying about *anything* makes me happy.
