7 Prospect
  1. The 2011 World Series kind of locked the image of Lance Berkman in a Cardinals uniform into my head despite his short tenure in St. Louis.
  2. The Cardinals social media accounts put this out a few days ago with the caption "You’re gonna flip! We have a big announcement coming soon…" After a little digging, the original photo is actually of Ozzie in a home white uni that has been photoshopped powder blue for the post. I have to assume this means we'll be seeing a return of powder blue for the Cards in some capacity for 2019.
  3. I don't think this has been mentioned yet. The Cardinals have added a memorial patch honoring Red Schoendienst to the sleeve for the remainder of the season. Basically the same design the team used for Stan Musial in 2013, which is fitting given how closely the two are tied together in Cardinals history.
  4. Watching the Cardinals game tonight. The announcers answered a twitter question regarding the road hats by saying that the navy caps will still be used. They didn't offer any specifics, however, beyond that they would "mix and match."
  5. No official word from the Cardinals so far. I guess it'll be a game time surprise.
  6. Sorry if this is old news, but the Cardinals are now apparently leaving it up to a fan vote decide how they'll handle the road caps for this season. The options are always red, always blue, blue when playing a red team, or blue on getaway days. http://stlouis.cardinals.mlb.com/stl/fan_forum/hat_poll.jsp?partnerId=as_mlb_20130326_6652694
  7. I think the stripes are here to stay for awhile, and I'm glad. Just makes a great uniform that much better.
  8. Baseball: 1) players who wear a shirt under their jersey that's not a team color 2) teams that add black for no reason(Mets) 3) non-white or grey sleeveless jerseys (Rockies) 4) oversized logos on hats (Jays) 5) hats with the first letter of the team name rather than the city 6) teams that have completely different color schemes for home and road (Nationals) 7) teams that take the player names off jerseys for no reason (Cubs, Dodgers) 8) white/grey letters and/or numbers on a white or grey jersey (Jays) Football: 1) grey facemasks 2) any uniform in which the pants are the darkest part of the uniform (Titans road) 3) piping 4) monochromes 5) weird number fonts 6) side panels 7) different shades of the same color in the same uniform (Cowboys, Saints)
  9. A couple of years ago the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx and the Tennessee Smokies did the same thing for the Cardinals and Cubs. At the end of the series they auctioned off the jerseys. It was pretty cool to see the major league unis out there, and I ended up with a game worn Skip Schumaker jersey for $25.
  10. For the most part, I like the Giants current look, but there's just a few little things that have never seemed quite right with them. Mainly I tried to make the colors a little more consistent than the almost all blue home & almost all red road look they use now. I also ditched the grey pants and facemask, outlined the numbers, changed up the sleeve stripes, and added a red outline to the helmet logo. Anyways, let me know what you think. Slight tweak. Changed the colors & redid the shoulders a little. Oregon Football v2
  12. Here's a quick clean-up of what I think you're going for here. Sharks Like everyone has said, take a little time with these concepts to try to perfect the details. I only spent about 15 minutes on this version of your concept because i was mainly focussing on cleaning up what you've already done, but for an original concept to have any chance of looking nice, it can take quite a bit of time.

After seeing the garbage they wore last night, I decided to see what I could do for the ducks. Let me know what you think. Oregon Football

    Ravens Jersey Tweaks

I think that purple numbers on a black jersey would be too hard to see on the field.

Not sure why, but the Indians and Marlins ended up on the far right of the page so you have to scroll over and then down to see them.
