Can the new council revoke the lease deal? Or must they honour the January 31st date set by those previously in office? -

So what's the deal here? Is the new mayor in office now? -

I hate so much the way people make Doan out to be a hero for staying with his team, as if he's not only the last vestige of the original Jets but the last vestige of a bygone era of player/franchise loyalty. Let's be real: he stays where he stays because the weather is nice for his horse farm, the shopping is good for his wife, the schools are good for his kids, and the expectations are low for his job. That's not selfless loyalty, that's selfish loyalty. There is no real sacrifice on his part; it's an arrangement that by any rational valuation (which is to exclude "your life is measured in Stanley Cups"), what he gives is vastly, vastly outweighed by what he gets. It's not Ray Bourque gamely sticking around till he could stick around no more, it's just some longtime second-line winger gaming a unique idiosyncrasy of the NHL's economic and geographic footprint for his personal gain. Beyond that, he tries to mitigate his dirty game on the ice by identifying as an evangelical Christian, the worst trick in the book. He's lauded as a Stoic Leader Captain because he's been around a while and wears #19 like Yzerman and Sakic did, but he sure pouts loudly when his team loses or might move away from his cushy rut. He's a first-order charlatan. Easily one of my least favorite players in the league, now or ever. Could not agree more. -

This is so insane now it's the 16th that the new mayor comes in and can strike this down correct? Some great comments in the comment section here as well about how the NHL didn't fight like this for Atlanta. Not to rip Atlanta's fans in anyway but ones comeback to someone calling Atlanta a terrible sports town was: Good point... -
Players in the "wrong" uniforms

So long as it's a Wings or Sweden jersey I can't see it as wrong for Nicky, regardless of if it was a one off or throwback. -

The sheer distance that you can spot an NHL fake is beyond me. Coming back from break on work today I saw a man exiting the store in a Chara Bruins knock-off. I was like 25 yards away could tell just from the numbers alone. The numbers on these fakes look like they weigh more than the jerseys, it's so obvious. Not to mention the Jets ones I see around town that have the wrong colour on the neck as the backdrop to the NHL logo. Rant over. -

I LOL'd If I'm not mistaken I'm thinking this guy is on here just to promote that site that he is likely employed by, or runs himself. If they are of higher quality than the licensed ones then why on earth not charge more? It is better product after all no? I'm also pretty sure you don't need close inspection to see that the colour of a jersey is incorrect, or that the logo is 10 times to big. -

I'm not one for basketball jerseys, but these appear to be the same fake hockey jerseys we see on ebay, and the majority don't even have the correct shades of colours on them. -

2004-2011 Never Forget *head asplode* As for teamdepot.com, the site looks legit. Looks like they specialize in old stock and discontinued styles - so if you buy an Edge replica, it will probably have the old "Rbk" tagging. They seem though to have no stock of any jersey. -

That one Coyotes jersey is cheap, but the prices of the other jerseys seem comparable. The prices of the Edge jerseys are what make me a bit suspicious. The site is set up really well though, much better than most of the Chinese counterfeit sites. I only looked at it for that jersey and they apparently have no more. -

Why does the logo appear so small? I have the white replica and I swear it's bigger?
