  1. So far we’ve only seen Explorers and Rebels. The other is the “Heroine Edition,” in (home) white. Look for team names on those. The Mystics’ Rebel (“RISE”) is a favorite so far. The text of the 19th Amendment on a white ribbon is an inspired touch.
  2. upgrade. YES to reverting to athletic gold from volt. YES to the St. Louis/early Atlanta/70s-early 80s look. I love “ATLANTA” in the chosen wordmark font. Part of me would have liked a Benguiat return. Just out of curiosity, would Benguiat numbers have worked on these new unis?
  3. I’m liking “Gateway FC” among the name ideas so far (kudos to NicDB for that one!)...but how about “Gateway STL?” As for would a deep forest green, sky blue, and old gold scheme work?

    MLS 2022

The peach kit is apt for AU...and it is hot!!! Cannot wait to see the other teams...
  5. Well done, Survival79...and I must agree, (2) is superior out of your lot!
  6. Love what you did thus far with the W...all hits. As others said, superior to actual fare. Favorite element: Team names back on jersey fronts where they should be. Digging the "Astros" sides on the Sun unis. Sky sides are inspired. You also showed that Liberty (my team!) seafoam can co-exist with blue and orange; would a seafoam alternate jersey with orange/blue accents work? Would also like to see a "Las Vegas" mark on the Aces' roads, but again, liking what I'm seeing there. Cannot wait to see the remaining third of the league, should be just as hot.
  7. Props to Gothamite for bringing up the heron. I'm warming up to that as a team name, and I'd agree the plumage of the bird (as in the accompanying image) would lend well to team colors. I'd pair that blue with a deep forest green or—wait for it—port.
  8. The Stars name and color scheme would have stuck in Vegas, with Nevada being the Silver State among things. But I'm liking this kick-you-know-what logo and brand and would like to see more. I'm especially feeling the diamond motif. [Come to think of it, the "Las Vegas Diamonds" would have also worked for the W entry.]
  9. This look is HOT! I'm especially feeling the greater orange/purple focus. Suns have the best of the Nikes thus far. Looking forward to the other half of their set.
  10. How is this for a Sonics 2.0 secondary "S" (in the right font!) with either the Space Needle or a jet silhouette cut into it?
  11. Your roundel secondary...again, superior to existing. Nailed it with the ball/bridge pairing. Can't wait to see the uniforms, Funkatron...should be another improvement!
  12. This, Funkatron, is an upgrade...enough said. [Big up.]
  13. Of previous looks, I lean toward the '90s one. As far as brown, my favorite color scheme suggested on this board would group it with a sky blue (cerulean?) and an optional sand/champagne. [The right shade of blue would counter the two neutrals very well.] Another about wine and sky (with, again, an optional sand)? The Padres would especially "own" wine the way they would brown.
  14. If the Blazers should go roundel, they need to look at your 1,000,000% nailed it! And I must concur, the one sans silver is superior. [Will we see uniforms?]
  15. If they're going to go that route, why not 1) put a dot below the Verizon check or 2) add a full red exclamation point with the check cut into it? That stylized punctuation, in either form, can also make a great Yahoo! secondary mark.
  16. I'd go w/ an entirely new crown to fit the "R" here. Also such "crowned R" by itself would make a great tertiary mark (as the "KC" is already in place as the secondary).
  17. The monochromatic third kit is dope!!!
  18. Re the Blazers: How about converting the "sash" element to shoulder racing stripes?
  19. I am especially liking that 76ers "Hall-Star" logo...and great choice of retro alternate too!
  20. I am especially feeling the Astros-inspired chevron side panels on the Rockets' concept. Brilliant element!
  21. "PHILA" on a jersey front actually dates back to, ironically, when those same Warriors that Shadojoker brought up were in that town.
  22. I'm thinking a deep dark chocolate, or a wine (the 2015 Pantone Color of the Year, "Marsala," comes to mind and would definitely work here), with sand/champagne and sky blue. How would that be for a Padres color scheme?
  23. Re the Hawks, I can actually see graphite as an accent color alongside the primary red and yellow. As for the about that indigo shade for the home numbers?
  24. An overall upgrade, I'll agree...and an interesting accent color choice. A blue much different from the royal, navy and sky shades (I'm thinking the hue here is periwinkle?), in a pop in the right spots and to the right degree, is sure to set the brand apart.
