  1. I don't have a huge problem with the current logo, but the tweaks on the redesign greatly improve upon it.
  2. I'd like the Orioles Friday black alternate jersey to read "Baltimore" instead of "Orioles". This way you have two Orioles jerseys (white and orange), and two Baltimore jerseys (black and grey). Sort of evens things out.
  3. Do any teams' alternate jerseys have the city name, rather than the team name? I thought it would be cool if the Orioles put "Baltimore" on their black alternate. That way you've got 2 "Orioles" and 2 "Baltimore" jerseys.
  4. Well, you can add a 20th winning season to this chart. As I have said, it has to be that cartoon bird. No doubt about it! At this point I guess it's fair to say the Orioles 2012 cap/uniform changes have made the most difference compared to other clubs and have had the best effect on the team.
  5. I've been saying that all year, that's gotta be it!
  6. Hope this doesn't jinx anything, but here's what the O's will use if they make it into the playoffs: Seeing these images somehow makes it seem like more of a possibility. It's been 15 LONG years!
  7. Giants should bring this guy back!
  8. I've never cared much for the Diamondbacks mascot, D. Baxter. Get it??? D-BAXter!!! He's a bobcat, which I guess are native to AZ? But I seem to remember it having to do the former name of Chase Field, which was Bank One Ballpark, or BOB for short. Just lame. Baxter just sort of blends in with everything and doesn't really stand out, as I feel a mascot should. I guess they figure an actual snake mascot wouldn't go over too well with precious children. Actually, here's somebody's concept I just found that looks kinda cool:
  9. As a one-time fauxback, it's alright. Any more than that, then no. It plays into the culture Maddon has built there. He's keeps it loose, they try to be creative on road trips, etc. It's harmless as a one-time thing. If anyone else tried it, it might be perceived as more of a bad thing. I would definitely say it would be stupid if the Rockies or D-Backs did this, but it fits the Rays' persona. I would love to see the Rockies and D-Backs in 70's fauxbacks! They should definitely jump on this at some point. Nununununununununo. This should not become a trend. I don't mind it that much of it's a one-time thing, but if multiple teams start doing it multiple times, I'll have an issue with it. I wouldn't want it to become a trend necessarily, but I think it's a cool idea for the few teams that weren't around back in the 70's.

  11. Wow, AWESOME concepts! I'm really digging this '70's fauxback thing. D'Backs and Rockies have got to jump on this. I can't wait to see your 70's versions of those teams!
  12. The curved bills in all my hats in my previous post above are all permanent. I've never had any problem getting a curved bill. I just sort cup the bill with both hands and work it in. Then I wear the cap and the curve of the bill naturally forms to my forehead. Really, very little work. I've never had a cap that didn't keep the curve, they always stay. I have heard some people curve the bill and stick it in a coffee mug, to get a deep, lasting curve that way. Guess you could give that a try if the other way doesn't work.
  13. Definitely 59Fifty. I don't have any time for the BP caps. I've said it before and I'll say it again, EMBRACE THE HIGH CROWN!!
