I believe there are companies that can take a regular sneaker and attach cleats or maybe even just re-sole them with cleats. 

Lorenzen's had custom Vans cleats for a few years now. I wish they were a real thing (for us common folk/beer league softball players) because I'd totally get a pair.

Possible unpopular opinion, but the timed round format for the HR derby isn't as fun to watch. It gets really boring to just see a guy repeatedly swing (and tire out) and not even see where the ball goes while the commentators just talk over it like nothing is happening.

Not a fan of the "PGH" abbreviation, but these are actually pretty solid.

Schedule for the new helmets. Hopefully this means only 2 games with poopy gray uniforms.

It's a nice enough helmet. I just don't get it. Like @GFB said, with new unifirms coming next year, it seems dumb to rush it out this year. I also absolutely hate the gray uniforms, and this helmet doesn't look particularly great with them.

I'm glad I'll be seeing the Lions play on the road this year, so I hopefully won't have to see the gray uniforms.

Yeah, I'm assuming blue with stripes to match the car. I don't love the idea, but I also don't like them wearing anything other than silver helmets and pants with either blue or white jerseys.

Thankfully, I don't think it'll just be about soda this time

Take that hat, give it an orange visor and logo and throw that awful "O's" cap in the trash where it belongs.

I'm torn on these though. I kinda dig the simplicity and cleanliness of the jersey, but I'm not feeling the idea of making the character of these jerseys a hidden element. Nike speak shouldn't be your entire brand. I also don't like the trend of black pants on recent CC uniforms, despite my appreciation of non-white/gray pants.

Not a huge fan of all the bevels or the black, but these aren't so bad. Those pants though...woof.

The new wordmark is definitely a step up, but I think the two purples are slightly too close in value that from a distance, you'd lose the shapes of some of the letters. I'd either thin out the darker outline or maybe even add white in between the two purples.

I actually just do Shinny in the morning once or twice a week, but I do miss playing in an actual league.
