The sleeve logo is cool. I don't know what it is, but it's nice. In general not a huge fan of these, but I also don't know the context of any of it.
And, um, I kinda dig the black pants, although not necessarily for a Major League team. Definite softball look. I should also note that the old Indians navy jersey/red pants uniform is one of my favorite things ever.

I think it was determined that those are not related to their City Connect design. Someone a few pages back posted a photo of a Mariners cap in that same style.Ah, must've missed the Mariners ones, but that's what I was assuming if they were just kind of a random item in the O's store.

Not sure if this means anything or not, but the colorful shirts that have popped up in here for the Orioles are currently available for purchase in their team store. It didn't look like it was Nike.
(I'm at the game tonight and took a look)

You plucked it right out of my head—except I was actually thinking of another Kansas State colorway:
Now, I know the faded-purple hue miiiggghhtt be a bit much for an "away" uniform (I'm only calling it that until Nike inevitably finds some other hackneyed "name" for home/away/alternate MLB uniforms), but I say: why the heck not?? Maybe not that purple, perhaps just a tad bit more to the silver/gray side (to replace the silver), but THAT colorway—double purple—should be Colorado's colorway going forward and for all time.
*I might have to get back in the kitchen on this one...
I'd love to see another team give a pastel/lighter color look for their road uniforms rather than gray. I think a mint green road set for someone (maybe even Colorado) would be pretty sharp. ECU has this lavender set that's a bit much, but I think it could definitely be done well if it's a little less saturated...closer to the KSU you have up there

I'm also a fan of classic Marlins teal (though I remain upset that I have yet to find a black/teal Portland Sea Dogs hat from that era).
This one? It's on Fanatics and milbstore.com if you're cool with the goofy new era logo on the side. I almost bought it last month when I was getting their Red Snappers hat, which is also fantastic.

I've wanted this hat since I saw it in a StarStruck catalog as a kid, and a few years ago, I scooped one up off of ebay. While a hat isn't too obscure, the Beaumont Bulfrogs existed for exactly one season in 1994. I just love this logo.

They had one job, get rid of the awful contrasting nameplates that no one like, and of course they failed to it
I actually like the nameplates.

Pretty classless of Realmuto to try to show up the umpire today
(I'm obviously joking. He's okay. It's the Philly fans that are classless )

I agree that Japan was definitely better, but I think that’s part of my frustration. The US has a head and shoulders better lineup, but almost none of the cohesion the Japanese team does. The reasons for that make sense, but it’s still pretty unfortunate.
And as for pitching, I don’t think the USA team had a single starting pitcher in the top 20 on their roster. That’s not a great sign. And I agree that the hitting was much better this year, but the 2017 roster was a lot better balanced.
I thought the same thing. The US pitching staff wasn't nearly as good as it could/should have been.
That said, as an Angels fan, it was super fun to see Trout vs Ohtani on a huge stage. The whole tournament was great, and I'll miss watching Chinese Taipei games at 6am.

That reminds me that this logo absolutely ruled (for minor league hockey, anyway), especially on the Flames' pedestal jersey template

I really like the taz logo for a 90s minor league team. It doesn't make any sense other than spinning animal = hurricane, but I'm digging it.
For what it's worth, I don't mind the Carolina Hurricanes primary logo, either. It's certainly in the bottom half (maybe bottom 10 even) of the NHL, but it's not one that immediately comes to mind as awful or in need of a complete rebrand.

Actually, yeah..almost exactly like that (colorwise). Shoot, that darker blue actually looks better than I thought it would!
The Lightning brand has so much opportunity for fun and dynamism...they should defintiely lean into that more.
I had this thought the other week when I was loading my hockey bag for a game, the inside of my bag would make for a cool color combo for Tampa. An electric blue, black and white. I wouldn't hate a volt/neon yellow added somewhere, although the blue probably couldn't be this vibrant in that case. Like you said, there's definite possibility for some really interesting colors.

The all star jerseys are nice on their own, but it's a little tough to tell which team is which sometimes with everyone wearing black helmets, white gloves and the same socks. At least in '95, one team was purple and black and the other was white and teal. I feel like they could've made the two conferences a little more distinguishable. I think if the east had pink bottom/back of their jerseys, it would help.

At least it's not as big as the Padres Motorola patch and gets rid of one of the extra Angels' logos on the sleeve? It still sucks.

Let the speculation run rampid! I know this much: that darker gray got to GO.
I hope the gray jerseys and white pants go in the trash. Also dreading a potential return to a black jersey . I've heard rumors of a return to Sims/Sanders era look, which I'm a thousand percent on board with

I walk by a Conestoga hockey display every week (I play at IceLine), although I feel like the jersey in there might have a Flames logo on it. But I think Conestoga is the one with the old Jofa helmet in theirs!
