  1. My favorite Sonics uniforms only lasted a year (1973).
  2. The last SuperSonics uniforms with the late 70s-early 90s logo would be great.
  3. Surprised we haven't seen a New England Clam Chowder Bowl.
  4. Can we use playground rules? If you're responsible for tossing the ball in the water - you've got to go get it!
  5. Somewhere back at my parents' house is the programs I used to buy as a kid. I remember the WTT programs had all of the team logos inside. Now comes the hard part - finding them!
  6. Of course, my favorite was the SeaPort Cascades. As a kid in the 70s, I tried auditioned for ballboy, but didn't make it. My brother did and we went to a bunch of matches. One of the memorable teams in the league at that time was The Soviets.
  7. I think it might also depend on how much the team or MLS believes they'll be marketing to kids. Granted, I don't know the laws in BC, but down here I don't think you can legally advertize an over-21 product on children's apparel. (Judging by my sons' elementary school, Sounders jerseys/t-shirts are hugely popular). Would a beer sponsor mean the Whitecaps could only sell authentic-looking jerseys and t-shirts in adult sizes?
  8. As a fan I guess I'll live with it, but they should've used it with blue trim instead of rave green. Looks too Timberesque for my liking.
  9. I'm continually blown away by how nice these look. Great job MaximGan!!
  10. Not that rare - the team from Venezuela has their "Caracas" uniforms.
  11. Since these are for "Black Out Cancer Day" I really don't have a problem with it.
  12. Can't wait to see the Sounders and Whitecaps!
  13. The Sonics' introduction of the "Arch" design came in 2 phases. 1977-78 featured the "Arch" home uniforms while they still used the Celtics-style road uniforms. 1978-79 had the "Arch" on both sets. Here's Marvin Webster (who wasn't with the Sonics in 79) during the 1978 Finals:
