  1. Would love to make jerseys but: need to learn how and I wasn't planning to,lol. I have an idea and someone else could take a stab.
  2. Yeah I agree with that. I'll probably try something with both (adding white and removing it).
  3. Hey. So this isn't really much of a original concept just a combination of eras for the Warriors. There are aspects that I believe are great for the current identity (the bridge, royal and gold) and good aspects from the former identity (wordmark, uniforms) that would work together in my opinion. So taking these aspects and combining them, I just made a logo idea based on what I think think they should look.
  4. This is what they should've done. This looks great. Is there any way to eliminate the white outline, so that the ball outline is the same as the inside of the roundel?
  5. Okay these are my ideas: AFC East Buffalo: Perfect. Just wear blue pants more (maybe a blue helmet?) Miami: Please add more orange with a modern sleep stripe. New England: Simplify and modernize uniforms using new wordmark font NY Jets: Make NY alt logo on helmet with added jet (from Kelly era) over the NY. Revert back to Kelly Green (although their current green is unique and more military-ish). Taper all the stripes (pants, helmet, jersey stripe) AFC North Baltimore: Add purple and gold tapered lines (like the helmet) to the black pants. Get rid off the white ones. Fix logo helmet. Cincinnati: Get rid of the side panels. Broaden the numbers and lose the drop shadow by replacing it with an outline. Cleveland: Go backwards. Add orange pants and bring back the brownie logo (a more modern version) Pittsburgh: Change to a more block font or something blockish but still curvy. AFC South Houston: Change to a more modern pant stripe reflecting Texas. Add more white to the navy and red jerseys and navy to the white. Lose red pants. Jacksonville: Move to St. Louis. Lose the gradient helmet (go solid black). Combine the old jaguar with the new one (new one looks not like a logo but an illustration) Indianapolis: Make helmet stripe a double stripe to match stripes throughout the uniform. Revert to white or back to blue facemask. Tennessee: Go light blue, red and silver re-do. AFC West Denver: Modernize the orange and blue 60's uniform and keep the logo. Go Dark Royal rather than Navy. Kansas City: Slightly modernize uniforms. Add yellow to helmet log. Go with metallic Red helmet. Oakland: Switch to silver numbers with black outline on homes. San Diego: Love the Chargers look. Just make the light blues the home jersey and the navy the alt and fix stripes and light bolts on the uniforms. NFC East Dallas: Standardize the blues and silvers (go with dark royal and silver-blue) with the old font type from the 60s and 70s. NY Giants: Add red northwestern stripe to blue uniforms. Make the numbers on the away uniforms blue. Keep the white pants with gray. Philadelphia: No midnight green. No Kelly green. But Emerald Green with silver. No Black. Get inspiration from 80's Super Unis and Oregon. Washington: Combine Vince Lombardi era uniforms with the spear uniforms. Burn the current ones. NFC North Chicago: Get rid of the orange uniforms. Detroit: Keep uniforms but get rid of black. Green Bay: Cool Minnesota: Modern classic NFC South Atlanta: Some guys on the board has done uniforms simplifying the look but keep the numbers and adding the falcon wings as jersey stripes. That's the perfect look. Carolina: Silver pants with white uniforms or black helmets with elimination of silver. New Orleans: Modernize 60s/70s uniforms. Tampa Bay: Keep uniforms. Remove clock effects to number fonts. Go back to old logo and helmet. NFC West Arizona: Follow the Vikings lead. Simplify but modernize. Los Angeles (St. Louis): Keep uniforms but change gold to color between athletic gold and Vegas gold. San Francisco: Either add a little black or remove black completely. Add a little gold to uniforms (stripes) Seattle: Keep new logo and number font. Revert to silver helmet. Modernize Steve Largent uniforms. Not Navy. Not Royal Blue but Marine Blue (Blue with a little green in it).
  6. I think this is a clean look but both previous posters mentioned, a slight diversion from the what you put would be cool. Utilizing the sharpness of the jet from Jets logo from the 90's would add a little something and maybe tapering all the lines in the uniform and helmet (like the Ravens) would make them look more dynamic while staying to the old uniform style.
  7. Those uniforms (or the ones they were inspired from) are really cheap looking and dated. Drop shadows, etc. Modernizing them would go a bit farther than using the same uniform template with just a new font. The logos though are pretty good.
  8. This is by far one of the best series I've seen in awhile. Great job
  9. Can I suggest an idea? How about replacing the red with orange? I'm it is supposed a joint all star weekend between the Nets and Knicks and I would assume the black and white was chosen because of the nets. Why not do the same for the Knicks?
  10. The new one (as in the one you made) is looking great in that: 1. You simplified the color palette while 2. staying true to the form of their previous logos and 3. utilized certain materials in the logo package in a very clever matter (the soccer ball sun and the tree integrating into the E). As you said, this isn't the complete identity so there isn't much to critique except the tree into the E looks forced and maybe the addition of white would help liven what you already have. Great job
  11. Nice one with the AFC (which I bet the AFC West stays equal). And it realistically makes sense in a geographic standpoint. But you forgot the NFC, so here it is (with the NFC South staying equal): NFC East Detroit New York Philadelphia Washington NFC North Chicago Green Bay Minnesota St. Louis NFC West Arizona Dallas San Francisco Seattle NFC East Detroit Carolina New York Philadelphia Washington NFC North Chicago St. Louis Detroit Green Bay Minnesota NFC West Arizona San Francisco Seattle Dallas St. Louis NFC South Atlanta Dallas New Orleans Tampa Bay
  12. With all due to respect, this mini-tweak suggestion would have make sense for sure from the get-go when the NFL had put the current realignment since 2002. AFC East Baltimore Buffalo New England New York AFC North Cincinnati Cleveland Indianapolis Pittsburgh AFC South Houston Jacksonville Miami Tennessee
  13. Great concept. The bottom two right ones are the best (the bottom right one is the absolute best). I like the Pacman though on white not on black (looks more natural). Maybe try volt instead of yellow. As for the uniforms, it seems like there too much going on and the elements don't flow well into each other. I would remove the piping on the armpit area too make thngs look a little more clean and less clogged.
  14. Honestly, there are too many uniform and helmet combinations. This isn't NCAA. I would get rid of the orange pants and teal helmets. Multiple unifom combinations and helmet are a marketing ploy for young college kids. The NFL doesn't need to look minor-leaguish. Otherwise, the uniform design I would give a 7.5 or 8 out of 10 (the orange needs to be more prominent) and teal facemask. Everything else is perfect.
  15. Also with USAToday Sports: http://ftw.usatoday.com/2015/01/san-diego-padres-brown-uniforms-jerseys
  16. Miami's old look (from the National title years in the 80's and arly 90's) is so dated. Don't know why anyone would want that back.
  17. I agree. The uniforms as is, although unique, look very minor-leaguish. Having the Hawks and Atlanta scripts would increasingly improve whatever alterations you made already.
  18. Uh....but no offense, this is probably the worst idea here. Merry Christmas though.
  19. NBA 76ers: Use logo font for jersey font. Add side panels with stars akin 70's unis. Knicks: Lose the gray. Extend arm trim. Bring back side panels from previous uniforms. Use logo font on unis. Nets: Switch the black for blue. Add gray/silver (dodgers-esque). Raptors: Purple and Red. Nuff said. Scrap new logo. Bucks: Keep Red add Irish rainbow somehow into side panels. Pacers: Create uniforms combing aspects from the 80's unis, Flo-Jo unis and current unis (Hated the pinstriped look). Hawks: Lose the navy. red, Yellow and white with a hint of black. Hornets: Scrap unis. Go to something similar to bobcats pinstripe unis from Ray Felton, Gerald Wallace era. Wizards: Lose the RWB. Gold to Black and Gold. Mavs: Keep unis but switch the lighter blue for emerald green. Grizzlies: Go back to Vancouver Rockets: Switch silver for Gold (vegas Gold) Pelicans: Switch Red and navy for Purple and Green Thunder: Start over. get some character Wolves: Switch black for green. Add green alts. Jazz: New colors. Purple or Green, with light blue and gold Clippers: Burnt Orange and sky blue Suns: De-emphasize on black. Highlight orange Kings: Current font is dated and tacky. Use cursive font Warriors: new logo please. MLB Braves: Switch from Navy to Black (i.e. Milwaukee Braves. Uniforms become more in line with other ATL teams) D-Backs: Keep current identity. Switch black for teal/green Padres: Brown and Gold or Yellow Rockies: Something new with Forum Blue and Silver Blue Marlins: teal/Aqua/neon with red-orange-pinkish color with hint of black and silver Rays: Green and light blue with a little more character Red Sox: More red prominent Angels: Switch Silver to Gold and caps with navy crown red brim Astros: Keep colors add yellow use previous logo (rotate it upwards) more futuristic uniform design Phillies: red and Blue to Maroon and light blue Pirates: Add yellow cap with black brim
  20. That last line hits the nail perfectly about my view on the current the Padres uniforms. Bring back the Brown and Gold (Vegas, Athletic, Mustard..any kind of Gold)
  21. How about neither Midnight or Kelly? Maybe Forest Green or Emerald Green
