  1. I'm for a mix. Mostly non-NFL markets plus some NFL ones that are successful, like DC. I would like to see them get back into New York City, namely once NYCFC's new stadium is completed.
  2. I thought the plan was to build the new stadium south of Soldier Field, which would allow them to continue using it. Then demolish the "stadium" portion of Soldier Field once the new stadium is completed, while incorporating the protected exterior into a museum. Or did I misread that?
  3. This isn't year 1. Michigan has been around for 3 years and this is their 2nd playing IN Detroit. This is Houston's 3rd year playing in Houston when counting the 2020 XFL season. These are NFL markets. If they're not showing interest now, they're probably not going to. Seattle and DC showed continued interest. Seattle's only problem was geography. It's not "hitting the panic button". It's fixing the market situation while you still can. Move them to markets that may actually be wanting a team, like in Ohio (Columbus or Canton) or Orlando, etc. Wait too long, and THAT could be the death knell for the league.
  4. Quick rough job here (there's no way to type that without hearing "Phrasing! Boom!" in your head). Wouldn't it have made more sense to have the sleeves like this and consistent through each uniform? Snow-capped mountain against a "sunset", so-to-speak?
  5. No one ever said it was. We were being critical of his saying that the Battlehawks dropoff was concerning, ignoring the context and the fact that they still drew more than twice the next highest attendance.
  6. It's not an opinion when you specifically said that Bills fans were lobbying for them. That's a statement of observation you made, which implies factually information that you are now calling an opinion when called out on it. Maybe instead of falsely calling people "douchebags", you might want to A. Check your ego as you clearly were applying your personal opinion to those of another team's fanbase to make it seem like they agreed with you, and B. Learn what the word "opinion" means.
  7. How does the Chiefs winning Super Bowls validate your statement about Bills fans clamoring for the return of the Jim Kelly era uniforms?
  8. No it's because you're ignoring the context. There was nothing wrong with the attendance. You don't need to "ignore" the dropoff, just realize it's not what you're making it out to be.
  9. I've been on TwiX explaining this all day to people who want to use it as the sign of the apocalypse. It would be pretty obvious if anybody did basic searching. And "22% drop" is wildly taking it out of context and grossly overplaying it for dramatic effect. It's still an insane figure for modern spring football, especially this season.
  10. Good lord, why are so many people acting like this is the end of the world? It was an 11;30am start couple with the Cardinals playing at 1:15 and honestly the dropoff only looks as big as it does because they drew over 40k last time. They still more than doubled the next highest attendance figure (DC - 15,052) and have continued to add to their list of highest attendance figures in modern spring football.
  11. 7k average across 5 games (equivalent of a team's full season home schedule) is not good at all. That's only 1k more than the Vegas Vipers averaged last year. I still think Michigan is most hurt by the new success of the Lions, and one could argue the same with Houston and the Texans. Two Texas teams is enough for now (as long as the Renegades pick it up, then it a few years, it could be San Antonio as the lone star in the state... clever punnery if I do say so myself).
  12. Houston and Michigan need to be moved. NFL markets that aren't drawing well. Birmingham should be doing better, but going up against the A-Game (which drew 72k) one week and poor weather another, I'll give them some leeway. But Michigan and Houston have been low all 3 home games between them.
  13. This might be one of the most insanely ridiculous NFL realignment concepts I've ever seen. Kudos. I'm assuming that was what you were going for.
  14. You misspelled your own name. That's gotta be embarrassing.
  15. Desperately needs to bring back the original gold pants and burn all the ones they replaced them with.
  16. Difference is the Panthers are playing in the home of a team that was a 2nd half meltdown away from the Super Bowl after many years of bad to mediocrity. San Antonio isn't.
  17. Not exact, but not too dissimilar striping patterns. Still, massive upgrade.
  18. I was thinking about stopping, but then I read your post and now, I think I'll continue waffling back and forth, maybe even more than ever, simply out of spite. Thanks for the new life goals!
  19. On-field jerseys have had velcro closures for many years.
  20. Our first thread to be ganjacked?
