Maybe. Blue Jays is about that size, too. Even normal triple piping (i.e., Braves minus the placket, Reds' road uniforms, Giants, etc.) would be better. This is 3 colors, condensed into barely the size of standard single-piping.

Yeah I don't they're idea for the black alt, but the execution fell flat. The lines are too thin to be noticeable and thus do not give off that "neon at night" look. The sleeve patch has a little bit thicker lines and almost pops the way the front wordmark should.

The Smokers throwbacks had the cigar removed from the original uniforms, and it was approved. "Cigar City" probably wouldn't be too different. But the point is moot because, again, this is just a fashion shirt, not related to the City Connect uniforms.

Even so, what is the likelihood that they draw that close to Dodger Stadium? Lifelong Dodger fans aren't gonna all of a sudden switch their fandom just because it's easier to get out of the parking lot. The Angels' best bet is to either stay in OC or try to get ahold of the outer region of Dodgers territory, i.e., Long Beach.

According to Google Maps, that's only 3 miles from Dodger Stadium. I'm gonna go out on a very short limb here and say that might not get approved.

I noticed in the second week that some of the red jerseys didn't even have side panels, or partial panels, some on one side but not the other... The jersey looked better when they were missing. Don't need them.
