    Depends where they put them. Long Island? Disaster. The Bronx? Disaster. Brooklyn? They become a top-5 team in attendance and merchandise sales. It's not going to happen, but that one would be an easy home run. And the renamed Rays would finally have a market worthy of them. Brooklyn Atlantics does ring well.

    A move to the New York City area would be a disaster, but not as bad as one they have now in St. Petersburg. Montreal would be a good spot for them to land, with the Hampton Roads (Norfolk/Virginia Beach/Hampton/Williamsburg) area of Virginia as a second possible location. Portland OR is a no good, the Timbers have the stadium.

    I often thought that, if MLB were to take over the team, they would have them play 40 home games at CitiField, 41 at Yankee Stadium, and have "Brooklyn" emblazoned on the jersey
