The announcement I saw was that they may debut a pre-2014 alternate uniform, not a full-scale change--although I SHO' wouldn't mind if they did bring those back as primaries. (But if they do, they'll have to get back to the former shade of garnet, as well--and we all know Nike prefers its teams in whatever stock textile colors they have on hand, so...)

The comparison I heard was actually Oklahoma State, which...I guess suggests that the tribal pattern stays on the collar? I kind of expect that they're doing what several folks have suggested, and doing a template update and losing the shoulder caps. Would like to see the numbers return to the sleeves, honestly.

I guess USF is just never going to come to their senses and wear gold helmets/pants again.

Then again, if Georgia Tech's new look is any indication, Adidas would probably screw it up.

I agree about the gold helmets, but the white pants are...let's go with traditional.

When's the last time FSU wore their black uniforms? Helmet History has 2018 as the last time they wore the gradient helmets associated with the black uniforms, but that's not necessarily an indication of the uniform's use.

They wore the jerseys this year against...NC State? And last year against Duke. It's just been a while since they've worn them with the black pants or alt helmet.

So is that black or navy? If it’s black I don’t like it, if it’s navy I absolutely hate it for unnecessary darkening of colors.

It's navy. School color is Pantone 287, which is as close to navy as it is to the royal athletics uses.

It's also...just a white version of the navy one they wore a couple years ago...
