Rangers have a jersey sponsor, Energy Transfer, or something like that I've never heard of. Bummer.

Very excited Rangers fan here. Grew up in the Metroplex, and still in a little bit of shock. Well done and congrats boys!

Austin has better nicknames than just the "verde". Local sportscasts often refer to them as the oaks or "el tree", which is actually kind of clever.

Embarrassing night for the Stars and (some of) their fans, but can we knock off the sanctimonious "typical Dallas" crap?

Unpopular opinion: The Rangers need to drop the whole powder blue faux retro thing altogether and bring back the red alt.

Saw the Rangers city connect in person on Friday. Great look, and the accompanying stadium graphics really tie it together.

Idiot Houston fans would only care about beating Dallas. They probably wouldn't know or care who the other divisional teams are.

Houston has, by far, one of the worst fanbases in the country . Chest-beating and belligerent when things are going well...not attending and belligerent when they aren't.

Hi. Been to around five ATX matches....had a great time. More than likely will attend more in the coming season.. Just stated that the experiences have been a little more err..ummm.."dickish" then I'm used to. Don't like the new jersey, apparently that's a huge problem.

I love the snoot attitude with soccer fans. I'm barely an Austin FC fan, let alone an MLS fan. Trying to "give it a go" or whatever, but it gets tiring if you don't actually let your whole life revolve around it, because the soccer heads will let you know. The NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL have a much more welcoming vibe. I don't need a bearded jackass from Pflugerville sneering about my beer choices, while he loudly has to leave the game at halftime. Evidently, because his life depends on crashing immediately at his place, so he can wake up at 4 in the morning to make sure he catches the Chelsea match. Sounds like a drag.

Great, so eight people who don't live in Austin think it's great. My bad. I've talked to many locally who aren't thrilled with it.

Austin's new look is a serious downgrade. Especially the green back.

I agree with the above poster, definitely a step backwards for Austin. Really don't like the green back on the jersey , and the thick white hem/piping or whatever it's called looks terrible. Wish they could've stayed with the inaugural look.

When I went to W.T. White hs in Dallas they looked exactly like the Texas Longhorns, helmet logo and all. Now it's the same basic color scheme with a stylized "W" on the helmet.

That's a good one. Colts-Bears really screams NFL, in a good way.

Hoping for white pants for KC. Smoking the Eagles would be a bonus.

Hope the Rangers drop the forced baby blue look and the cap that goes with it. Won't happen , but I can dream.
