So, this is an unexpected take.

My wife used to be a Habs fan, but became a Ducks fan after meeting and marrying me, but still considers them her second favorite, especially because her father is still a huge fan.

She does not share a passion for jerseys like I do. She has two. I have over sixty. But she approves and supports my passion.

However, she wants a Habs jersey now. And its entirely because she is an employee of RBC!

What's funny about these is that the NHL could reuse this same pair of jerseys (with different logos) for thar outdoor game between Toronto and Buffalo in March!

And here is that 25th anniversary jersey...

Everything is screenprinted.  What's unusual about this one is that all previous special event jerseys were always just screenprinted as as well,, but never sold.  They would always make just the 25 or so that the players would wear for the event and raffle them off after that game.  Because this is a full blown third jersey for this year (and only this year as the should logo would dictate), they are also selling some in the team shop and while they are the same $135 as the home and aways, they are actually authentics as they are only in sizes 52 to 58,  (And youth replica sizes.)

They are somewhat based on the "Fleury" era (techinically from 1998 until 2006, of which Marc-Andre Fleury did play for them from 2000 til 2004.  IMO, they're... okay.  For a third jersey, they are only scheduled to be worn twice more.

What do I think this is?

A red shape in the state of Minnesota.  The chain stitching is the star from the old North Stars logo.  Likely has a W under it, (though might be an M, could be both.)

This is simply their 1998-2006 jersey in yellow. Still their most iconic look.

If I had to guess, that looks like it might actually be Charlottetown's new home jersey as the sleeve and waist striping matches that of the white jerseys (just different order of colors) that I've seen in person two weeks ago when they played the Eagles here.

So with little fanfare, the Cape Breton Eagles also changed their name and number fonts. Names are single color black on white and white on black, but the numbers are now yellow with a single black outline on the white jerseys  and white with a black and yellow outline on black.

That is the shoulder logo. (The version on the white jersey.)

FYI, the stripe that runs along under the shoulder panels is absent on the back of the jerseys, thanks to that weird new CCM tag on the back collar that juts down into the back of the jersey.

Those Moncton jerseys are indeed brand new, which might explain why all of them have the Q50th patch, Only the first draft picks from the other teams had the 50th logo on their jersey (most of them cheaply slapped on) instead of the standard LHJMQ logo.  They probably times this on purpose to coincide with the opening of their brand new arena this year,  (Sadly, i did not attend the draft this year like I did the last two, so I was unable to provide any updated logos or jerseys that were unveiled.)

I like the updated version of the shoulder logo that replaces all black with blue.  If they actually did it with the primary logo, I would consider it a nice upgrade.

The new QMJHL 50 patch is huge!

The font used for "Ken Dryden" and "The Game". I see it everywhere, but no font identifying websites can seen to label it. Anybody know what font this is?

Anyone know what font it used on the NFL on CBS scoreboard?

Here in Nova Scotia, the knockoff game is strong. 

But the worst place by a mile is Glace Bay. 

I recently started a new job at my old place of work. The place employs at least 800 people over several lines of business.

About a month ago, they had a Jersey Day. I wore one of my authentic Ducks jerseys. They eventually got all people who were wearing jerseys to meet in the lounge for an activity.

In a group of about 100 people, only about 4 jerseys weren't knockoffs.

And other than that day, I have not seen a legitimate, even replica, jersey wore by anybody but myself. And there's usually two or three people per day wearing jerseys there. Including one guy in the training department who is always wearing a knockoff Carey Price Habs jersey every second day. And a guy on my floor who also wears a different jersey every day and every one he's worn so far have been fakes.

But three things take the cake for me...

1. The local supermarket, back in January, had various Super Bowl promotions on snacks and sodas. At their take-out counter where you can buy wings and pizzas and stuff, they had like 8 NFL jerseys hanging over the counter, and ALL of them were fakes.

2. Glace Bay has a very tiny mall. It is an actual indoor mall that has like 10 stores max. One of them is a sports memorabilia store that sells autographed pictures and bobbleheads and even old video games too. They also sell dozens of "New Era" hats, and none of them are legitimate. There is a second store that's kind of like a bargain store of designer stuff that also sells only knockoff sports stuff.

3. The fact this group exists that caters to my hometown region and nobody in the group are none the wiser:
