  1. Well, like Milo said, the prime examples are on their third round of reposts. We can't just make people up, so obviously there is going to be many less memorable examples. That only makes logical sense. Unfortunately, people seem to be around here only to rain on others parades. I agree with the guy who posted Johnny Damon in a Rays uni, that is the "wrong" uniform for many people. That fits perfectly in this thread. I mean, if you guys dont like where its gone, why are you still posting in here? Go re-read the first few pages if you're really that into those examples

  2. The great Brian Scalabrine as a net:

Um, he played nearly half his career thus far with the Nets.

Yeah, but he has none of the persona attached to his years there. In Boston he gained a reputation as the championship-winning bench-warmer. And in Chicago, he is a celebrity. In New Jersey, he was just a guy on the team. Its not just a number of years, its how memorable they were, or weren't

His claim to fame was on the nets what are you talking about?

Really? If those years are his claim to fame, then what do you call this?

  4. I have another question...

Say I am drawing a path and I am trying to close it up. How do I connect the first node that I drew to the last one I drew. Whenever I try to connect two ends of a path, the line I am trying to draw disappears. Any help?

  5. Hey, quick Inkscape question: (I'm new with inkscape, this could be something very easy to fix)

I'm trying to join a square I made with the shape tool to a bezier curve I made.

Right now it looks like this:

i want it to look something like this:

Whenever i try to use the union tool, the curve disappears, and the square is just there. I would just make a bunch of lines and curves, but I want the exact dimensions of a perfect square, which would be much easier with the shape tool. (I'm trying to make a baseball field if that helps at all.) Any ideas???
