Honestly, I don't think it's a font. It's most likely a 100% custom script. Professional teams don't just usually use commercially available typefaces...at least for their wordmarks.

Add City Boy The great NHL wouldn't dare use a freebie font, so Add City Boy is probably a knock off of a fine commercial font actually worthy of the great NHL.

I think it's only fair to say they were in the "wrong" unform after they've become famous with one team. Por exemplo, Brett Favre as a Falcon is not wrong at all. Brett Favre hadn't become Brett Favre yet. He was just Brett Fay-ver then(pronunciation of his name on draft day). He was just some alcoholic partyboy who couldn't grasp the offense. Brett Favre as a Jet, wrong, wrong, wrong.

Joe Namath is the only QB in the history of the NFL more overrated than Brat Favre (not to say that Brat isn't great, but he isn't in the top 10 QBs of all time, let alone the greatest ever). Super Bowl III was a great moment in time, but other than being lucky that the Colts offense had their worst day when the Jets defense had their best day, Joe Willie was never great. Only greats should achieve legendary status, not guys who happened to be in the right place at the right time and be on a lot of commercials.

I thought Serpentine was more square (although the corners still weren't sharp) than what the Bisons use, gordie. Isn't Serpentine what the Ottawa Senators used to use on their red and black jerseys before this season? I'm with Glenn here. The Senators use Serpentine, the Bisons use something different. By the way, it really isn't "legal" to ask for commercial fonts for free. Somewhere there is a designer starving, who should be able to feed their family by creating their work and being paid for it. Please be considerate to the people that actually create the wonderful stuff we get to use to create our wonderful stuff.

BigNoodle Titling If you want to stick with Letterhead Fonts, you could go with Goldsmith or Ephemera.

Anticlaire Display SSi and Fritz are two closely related font options, but would still require lots of tweaking to recreate the UA workmark above.
