  1. bout to try it now. whether it works or not, thanks for the help. and the OILERS just fit inside an oil drop, nothin spectacular.
  2. I have been searching for three or four days now and looked at possibly every text tutorial there is to no avail. I am wondering how I warp text like the word "OILERS" in the Edmonton Oilers 25 anniversary logo. It's inside the oil drop. Is it drawn from scratch or is there a tool or combonation of tools that i need to use. thanks for your help ~Uj
  3. Sounds like the greeking got out of whack. Go to Illustrator > Preferences, and toy around in there until you find the greeking setting and turn it way down. If that's not it, you have a more serious problem.
  4. odd question here but this problem is becoming a huge pain in my @$$. I use Illustrator 10, and last night I was typing headers and labels for a color palette im working on for a friends fantasy football league. anyways, before bed, i could totally and legibly read the text i had typed. today, i open the file and all the letters are big grey blocks. I have to zoom in to 950% or make teh font size 75pts or higher to read the writing. WHAT HAPPENED AND HOW DO I FIX IT!?!?!?!? ~UJ
  5. Alright, gentlemen (and ladies if we happen to have any on this board), I have indeed made a vector version of the Nike Swift hockey jersey, if any of u happen to want to use it. however, i am unsure where/how to post it so that you can down/upload to your PCs for your personal use. anyone with some direction in this matter would be a help. It is in AI10 format. Hope u guys get some kind of use out of it, since the Swift concept isnt winning over many people and the fact of when or if the NHL will adopt it is still in question (at least last i heard). thanks and enjoy UJ
  6. I'm not THAT skilled with the program yet, but for shading i usually use a dark gray or black color then adjust the transparency. From there it's just trial and error. hope that helps ~UJ
  7. the "pump it' font is called REPORTER. it can be found, for free, at 101fonts.com. ~UJ

  9. hey guys! I have created a great (in my opinion anyway) hockey uniform template, with shading, stitching, all kinds of goodies (I used it in both my Ontario Snowstalkers and Rome Imperials uniform posts) and I would love to share it with you guys. The only problem is i dont know how to create a link on here to allow you to download it, so if someone could tell me how to do that, i will make it available for all. BTW, it is in vector (.ai) format. ~UJ
  10. The Ultimate Vector Hockey Template] Copy and Paste. Image looks best when enlarged. This is the GIF version, for those with Illustrator and want the DELUXE version. E-mail me at jesse_feltner@hotmail.com and I'll be happy to send it to you. Enjoy, ~UJ
