Loved the Ravens’ black pants even more in 1997 and 1998: I would’ve loved to see Baltimore wear the black pants with their purple jerseys at least once then, or would put stripes on their pants now.

It was the big story around town yesterday. Currently, the AAA Bees plan to leave Smith’s Ballpark after the 2024 PCL season for the new stadium in Daybreak (on the southwest corner of the Salt Lake Valley) in 2025, but that still-under-construction ballpark is what the A’s are eyeing. Aside from a smaller capacity, the new ballpark as planned will have the facilities a Major League team needs, with separated bullpens and batting cages for both home and visiting teams. There’s not much of a geographic footprint to expand on at Smith’s Ballpark without tearing down nearby homes, either. Seeing (most of) the Bills wearing blue socks with white pants:

A smaller nitpick of mine is the mismatched shade of gold, Granted, for some reason it doesn’t stand out as much as the socks, but it does stand out. Part of me hopes New Orleans wakes up and realizes that the best shade of gold for them is their brassy shade of gold and matches the helmet to it someday (as well as burning their plain white and black pants), but that makes too much sense.

One other thought I’ve had (provided that the Texans do in fact add Luv Ya Blue to their color scheme) is to go primarily Red with Light Blue and Navy accents. That way, they have virtually the same color scheme as the Titans but still manage to stand out (which, given the general blueness of the AFC South, isn’t a bad thing).

I actually don’t mind the Chiefs, and even I think their reaction to this is overblown. This was an obvious penalty and was correctly called.

Also true. I didn’t even realize the Colts would be in the playoffs if the season ended today.

The Broncos going from dead in the water at 1-5 to within a game of the Chiefs is one of the wildest parts of it all.
