  1. Willing to sell this guy? Shoot me a PM if so.
  2. Source? This can't be legit.
  3. They could have just removed the outline and it would have made a big improvement. The H, and N seems a little too gothic compared to the rest of the letterforms in the new one. It seems unbalanced that way.
  4. It's a solid logo. My only problem is the balance of the position of the head, but other than that, it's solid.
  5. While some of the points made do make sense without little thought, some of them are simply laughable.
  6. Mayhem is Wide Latin. The Numeral font looks like a standard Russel Athletic style font.
  7. Two birds, missionary. I'm sorry. You'll never be the same.
  8. This one feels like a change for change sake. The "swoosh" portions on the previous logo had much more of a vibrant feel, and the new font choice is a bit wonky. Notice the awkward space between the S and w on the new one. I noticed it immediately.
  9. That OSU Cowboys script is a thing of beauty...
  10. Class move by Jerry Richardson, he's paid for every Panthers employee from his staff down to interns to make the trip to SB50: http://www.foxsports.com/buzzer/story/carolina-panthers-owner-jerry-richardson-taking-every-employee-to-super-bowl-50-nfl-012616
  11. From memory, Charlotte between the Hornets/Bobcats/Hornets and Panthers would probably be #1, with Cam Newton, and Baron Davis.
  12. Duke's throwbacks would have looked much better with the old "Duke" script, however, Nike probably phased it out when they unified the brand a few years back:
  13. The system is the brainchild of an legendary lineup of sports designers in Todd Radom, Joe Bosak, Skye Dillon, Frasor Davidson, and TJ Harley. ...and those guys have produced a system that is superb. This one is a home run. I thought I loved the Houston logo, and this one tops it so well.
  14. If Bowling Green had combined the car logo with the roundel, and gave it a bit of a tweak, it would be infinitely better than the basic "BG".
  15. I don't have any problems with the head at all, I actually think it's pretty solid. It's forced into the shape of the entire logo, and the type isn't that great. The head logo by itself is great, IMO.
  16. Adam is a fantastic host. I'm not a podcast guy AT ALL (Usually, within 3 or 4 minutes, i'm disinterested in hearing what feels like a recording of a conversation 6 feet from a mic) but I've never listened to an episode without being engaged. He's got great guests, and really puts time into making it top notch production quality. Highly recommended....
  17. Yeah the gigantic "PHILADELPHIA" looks terrible.
  18. These were fantastic! How they lasted just three seasons before being replaced with the bland, generic garbage they wear know I'll never know. I agree, these were fantastic. If anything, i'd get rid of the double outline. Only real thing I would change.
  19. The Sharks full body is much like the Broncos full body. The details that make it strange are hidden outside of the primary, so no one really notices. Except us, of course.
  20. One of the designers that is a huge inspiration to me, Matt Stevens, has a ton of great bottle designs, as well as working on identities for a few local Breweries. More here: http://www.hellomattstevens.com
  21. Of course, Industry standard in the design field is any Mac, however, if you're comfortable with PC alot of the Chromebooks are powerful, and affordable. Touch screen capability wont help any, simple because you wouldn't be drawing on your monitor. Something like a Wacom Tablet would be the alternative to touch screen, but that's really more on the illustration side.
  22. Looks like one of those over-detailed, often crazy colored "tough" stock mascots HS teams often put on apparel/uniforms.
  23. My initial reaction was, "Ugh, Again?" but this isn't all that bad. Everything seems to be leaning towards simplified lately. Jumping on the "flat design bandwagon" about 2 years too late.
