  1. I'm happy to see Lock do well. While I'm happy with Wilson, Lock got run out by a fanbase that's full of a bunch of spoiled brats. That drive was impressive.
  2. I'll take the opportunity to post these again so others can see them.
  3. I know I posted him before, but that was the white jersey, here's one of him in the road burgundy. Here's the other for reference.
  4. That's one thing I've been doing for quite awhile myself, in getting older logos vectorized as accurately as possible, instead of what Ren is doing in this thread. It became something for me in doing graphics for gumball helmets and old helmet logos that were needed, which I vectorized. For example, the WFL, USFL, CFL, along with several NFL logos which had vector files that were not accurate to what was worn on the helmets.
  5. You know what bugs me? People posting pictures of obscure or semi-obscure players with no name or reference expecting that everyone knows who they are. I have a feeling these have been posted before at some point, but it's 183 pages and there are several duplicates. Dale Murphy Walt Weiss Jari Kurri
  6. That looks perfectly fine to me. That's the entire reason I am a Mariners fan.
  7. There really is no way to make a tutorial on 'how to do it' because everyone has different techniques and styles. It's really not too much different than creating your own logos, except you already have a base to work with instead of just a vision in your head.
  8. Okay, it is now Monday, so I am officially putting my hat into the ring here. I will only do logos from the big four (NFL, NHL, NBA & MLB) and D1 (FBS) NCAA schools.
  9. Starting on Monday, I will be getting involved in this thread myself. However, I am going to limit myself to the major four leagues (NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB) and NCAA Football programs/logos.
  10. He never played a down in the regular season. This was the 2005 preseason. He was let go before the regular season, he never even wore the white uniform. How many people know that Andre Reed did almost the exact same thing for the Broncos in 2000? He wore #15 and ended up signing with the Redskins after Denver let him go.
  11. I am considering jumping in to fill in for Ren, however, I am very reluctant because of how a considerable amount of people in this thread act and treat him.
  12. I believe I saw it from an outside source, not just a message board posting. I'm trying like hell to find it... Maybe I'm just going crazy, that may be it.
  13. How come everyone doesn't know that the 'one helmet rule' was for last season only? I mean, really, everyone still assumes it exists. are you sure it is not in place for this season? Really? What was the point of it then? Did they change due to fan backlash like Nike with the toilet collars? I had not heard it...however I don't expect to see them on the field again regardless. The Skins wore their 75th only one time also: He's talking about the one helmet rule, the NFL won't allow them to wear that leather looking helmet again That's exactly what I was referring to, in that it was said that rule was only in place for last season. Something to do with 'breaking in' the helmets and other bs for putting it in place to begin with.
  14. How come everyone doesn't know that the 'one helmet rule' was for last season only? I mean, really, everyone still assumes it exists. Where have you seen it written that it was only for last season? I'll see if I can find it, but I know I read it somewhere.

  16. A big reason why I never jumped into the thread here, as I originally was going to join in with Ren, but the requests got completely absurd and overwhelming. The impatience of people here... I believe a big reason they haven't all gotten done is because people flood him with requests and then the older ones start getting lost.
  17. Turkeys & chickens are the only animals I could kill, myself, for food, because they're so friggin' ugly.
  18. I don't usually comment in this thread, since I've actually conversed with you... but that last one, wow, holy crap on a cracker that's impressive.
  19. In a situation kind of similar, I saw fake jerseys both in a Savers and a pawn shop this past summer and told people about them. The guys at the pawn shop tossed the jersey, no joke, in the trash. The people at Savers changed the price more to reflect it being not authentic.
  20. At $115+ they should at least get the number font right. They also sold plenty of tackle twill (2nd tier i believe) jerseys that had the incorrect number font. Trust me, you can't go to walmart on the weekends with out seeing at least 10 people decked out in Cowboys gear. The incorrect number font was very prominent throughout the Reebok era; and it wasn't just on the bottom tier replicas. If you're gonna charge prices like that and can't even get the number font right, you deserve to lose business. Can you imagine how nuts this place would go if Nike made their Game jerseys ($120) and had a block font for the Broncos?? I'd be really upset if they did that. Reebok replicas topped off at $80, and that was only the last year they made them. They were $75 the two years before that, and $65 for a long time before that. So the fact that the front & back numbers were a little off (the actual font is correct, it's just not bold like it's supposed to be) for a lesser alternative that isn't fake was a small trade off. Especially when compared to the ridiculous errors that all counterfeits come with.
  21. Onramp: http://www.losttype.com/font/?name=ONRAMP Thank you very much!!
  22. This made me laugh, I think it's a fantastic idea. 'Fake' jerseys look so bad that I lean over to my girlfriend at every sporting event and point out each single one that I see, either because I can't resist or I want her to know what a real jersey looks like in case she buys me one. Can't people tell when the numbers, logos, and/or colors are off like that?? If you buy a jersey, do it right! Even a replica is fine for God's sake Funny, I do the same exact thing with my friends, brother & my mother... every one of them tells me to shut the hell up. Apparently, I do it so often, it's gotten to the point where I drive them all crazy by just mentioning it. I do it anytime I see one, whether it be at the stadium, out at the store, on the streets, or even just on the television.
  23. I'm fairly certain the vast majority of people would laugh at you and throw the card in the air as they walk away. Honestly, I don't care what they would do. As long as it worked with a few people, which I figure it would, who would ask how I knew or any number of various questions because they didn't know, then it would be worth it. It drives me crazy, the amount of fake jerseys I see at any Broncos event I go to. It seems like that's where the most of them are. I see considerably less Nuggets & Avalanche fakes compared to the Broncos.
